Tell me what about his running style makes him more likely to get an ACL tear.
I'll wait.

C'mon man you can't see it????

Not sure where TMD got acl injury from but his style does open him up to a beating.
Quote:He won't be the number one.
He will be, he is a 20-25 carry back

He runs high
but he runs with tremendous leverage though

When I watched that footage, while he somehow is quick enough to find holes, thats seems to me more a product of "patience" than outright quickness. Remember how Emmitt Smith ran and he always seemed to be quick enough where he would never set himself up for that "big hit". Gerhart's running style seems the opposite, once past he LOS. I think his upright style combined with lack of quickness is going to leave him prone to knee shots, especially since he's a bigger guy and thats usually a cheap tactic used by smaller DB's and sometimes even smaller LB.

If that's Bklyn, that would explain so much.

See post 120, thats exactly how I explain it.
I hate it. Another not needed FA. Caldwell is blowing all our cap money THIS offseason as if there isn't a next year. And he's spending it on C and D level guys.
Quote:Rotoworld thinks we paid a lot. I don't agree and I usually do agree with them. If Gerhart has a big role with the team then thats a reasonable deal.
The contract is slightly more than what Joique Bell received from the Lions, in terms of $ per year and guaranteed money. Having said that, Toby Gerhart had more leverage than Bell, as Gerhart was a UFA and Bell was a RFA with a 2nd Round Tender. Based on market value, I agree with you that this is a reasonable deal for the Jaguars.

Yep, I said that too..... High runners leave themselves more prone to knee shots and more solid hits, overall.

It most definitely is him

Huh, did I miss a signing?

All guaranteed. Shocking.
Had to cut Joeckel to fit him under the cap.
