Quote:I wouldn't mess with Manziel's game too much if we did draft him. I'm of the opinion that if you draft JM, you do so not with the idea of "fixing" him. Trying to do so may just ruin him at this level. I think you pretty much sink or swim by letting Johnny be Johnny, and if it translates to this level, great, if not, back to the drawing board.

Not trying to say he needs a lot of fixing, just wouldn't mind him staying in the pocket just a little longer and letting his o-line protect..

So you didn't notice the pristine pockets he was running in and out of like a chicken

What did I just say? I just said that he needed to trust his o-line a little more and stay in the pocket a little longer.. Anyone can see that..

Thats like asking Gabbert not to be scared in the pocket. IF Manziel stays in the pocket, he will get killed. If he gets out of the pocket he gets killed.

Lose lose situation, or he can let it fly like Geno and still lose

What do you mean by "get killed"?

Him leaving the pocket is anticipating pressure, something great quarterbacks know how to do (Fran Tarkenton)

You are the one who thinks Teddy is a better pure passer than Johnny Wallbash  Wallbash

Just because he can run and another prospect cant run as well as he does doesn't mean the other prospect must be the better passer. If that made sense, like how Russel Wilson is a better passer than Brandon Weeden. Not comparing Bridgewater to Weeden at all, just saying that Weeden was considered the better pure passer more or less because he couldn't run as well as Wilson so they labeled him a "running QB". Before he got hurt, RG3 was a better passer than Luck, now that doesn't mean he is the better QB, it just means he can throw the ball more accurately. I do appreciate Teddy's knowledge for the game, but I have no clue about Teddy's work ethic, I know for a fact Johnny loves the game and he is probably the hardest working player in the draft.

What are you smoking?????

Bridgewater is by far and a galactic light year ahead of Johnny as a pure passer, get that through your skull.

Him leaving the pocket is not anticipation of pressure, its when he can't get through his reads fast enough and he sense PHANTOM pressure

Wilson was a pocket passer coming out of the draft (a short one albeit)

Luck is a better qb than RG3, thats all that matters

Because someone throws their workout pics in your face they must be a hard worker right???? Your an extremely gulible and nieve individual.

Bridgewater's work ethic is miles ahead of Manziel's combined with that fact his knowledge game, its not even a comparable argument

Its comparing an NFL vet to a rookie

So Teddy is already an NFL vet....

Stop Trolling.

This is just the the Geno hype last year.

I really hope you weren't comparing Manziel to Gabbert.. If you did, just lost the last credibility you had.

Meaning Manziel is Geno, they run practically the same offense in college too hahahahahahahaa

To put it this way, I probably have more football knowledge in the tip of my john than in your entire body

Not a bright boy I see, try to remain studious

Not even close, Geno threw alot of short passes, Manziel goes deep (over 20 yards) >25% of his attempts. Genos offense in terms of ball distribution is closer to Carrs or Teddys. Manziel is no hype, he is underrated.

Cause I'm not nuthuggin like you are? Please.. Id be happy with Teddy, but id rather have Manziel.. Can you say the same? Or are you too far into your crush that it can turn suicidal?

I am sensible about who and what I like at the number 3 spot.

If not Bridgewater, then Clowney, neither??? Get Mack or trade back

No point in reaching for qbs with high reward/but potential when there are qbs with high floor/high potential available

Just proves that Teddy ran a short pass west coast offense known for making QB's look like they are great (USC QBs)

I know Johnny runs a spread but look at the chart, he threw most of his passes down field.

Actually USC qbs run a simply pro style offense based on the first read and check down bases...

0-10 yards is the bread and butter of the modern day NFL offense, if you can't complete those passes consistently and move the chains, you suffer

Bridgewater doesn't have easy throws, he only based behind the LOS 11% of his passes

The offense that he run is a short to long read progression offense (a clone of what the raiders ran in the early 2000s), his deeper routes are often his last read. He doesn't have the time to properly set up his throws for a deeper ball.[
