If you have the chance to draft Teddy then you do it. trading for a decent qb and drafting Murray would be another option. you can do both.

You're terrible at this. Matt Flynn is not good, but even he tore up this terrible Dallas defense.

 

Matt Flynn vs Dallas last week:

299 yards, 66.7 completion %, 7.67 Yards Per Attempt, 4 touchdowns, 1 INT.

 

Kirk Cousins vs Dallas this week at halftime:

132 yards, 65.0 completion %, 6.60 Yards Per Attempt, 0 touchdowns, 1 INT.

 

 

I would call Cousins a game manager, but he isn't even that. He has more turnovers than touchdowns this season. Game managers at least take care of the football.

Yikes, Cousins was awful.  I'm hoping the Skins win next week...but after that meltdown, not holding my breath.

How can anyone think Cousins is better than Foles?

Tell me why you think Kirk Cousins will be good, despite what scouts have said about him and what we have seen so far (questionable decision making, average arm strength, average athleticism). Rather than 1) asking for my opinion and then 2) being a jackbag to me about it, let's hear your evaluation.

Not saying he is a sure thing, just debating the fact you are 100% that he is not.

The original thread stated "2nd round pick for Cousins." Anybody who would do that hasn't actually watched Cousins play.

Cousins isn't any better than Henne, IMO.  You guys either need to draft a quality QB and hope he is an instant success a  la Luck/Wilson, etc., or you need to bring in a quality vet - although "quality vet" is largely subjective.

I would still consider it, depending on where in the second it is. Would I go early 2nd? No! Late second/ early 3rd, yes.

As far as your last comment regarding not seeing him play- How many NFL games have you seen Bridgewater play in? Might be time to put your change back under those cups and try again.

Zero games, so he might be good and he might not be. Cousins, on the other hand, we already know is not good.

You are sitting here calling out every person that thinks Cousins is bad, but refuse to say you think Cousins is good. You can't have it both ways.

Either of these guys would be a MASSIVE upgrade, but I don't like our chances in getting either of them. We just didn't lose quite hard enough this year for Teddy, and if we got Cousins, we'd probably just sit him behind Gabbert next season. :p
