You're welcome!
Which games will you watch Saturday?

I only care about the Big Ten game because no matter who wins the SEC game, FSU will remain #1 after clobbering Duke.

im not surprised to see most people predict an Auburn victory, but Missouri is overall a better team. Mizz has a better QB, better receivers, and a better defense. Auburn honestly just got lucky that Saban went dumb.

This is my prediction:

Ohio State

FSU

Missouri

Stanford

I think Missouri with a win over Auburn, winning the best conference in the nation, should be playing FSU for the NC. it won't happen though. it's just a stupid system and i don't know why I watch it.

even if Ohio St loses, which is very possible, i think the voters will find a way to get Bama back in the game over Missouri. i think that is wrong. i will be very upset about that. either way, Missouri is getting screwed.

So winning the SEC should get you an automatic pass to the national title game?

yes considering strength of schedule

which is just an opinion, and is really the problem with college football. two teams are picked based on opinion

It should just be SEC vs. The World then. The SEC needs a better negotiator.
The SEC has pretty much dominated any team they have put in the NC game. they werent close games. i cant believe somebody would argue that an SEC champion doesn't deserve a spot

The last two times Ohio State played an SEC champ they got destroyed.

I think both teams who make the SEC title game should still play for the NT game.  SEC is so much freaking better.  Might as well only allow only SEC teams into the 4 team playoff next year.  I can't believe someone would argue anyone other then an SEC should be playing in the championship game.  SEC, SEC, SEC!!!

So you're telling me a 2-loss LSU absolutely deserved to play for the MNC in 2007? When their two losses were to Kentucky and Arkansas at the end of the year.

didnt LSU win the game? so ya they obviously were the better team

no, im not saying under ANY circumstance an SEC champ should get in, but a 1 loss SEC champ who only lost due to a missed FG in OT to a top ten team certainly deserves a spot

ur talkin crazy. that isn't what anybody is saying
oh ya, and Missouri lost that game with a backup freshman QB playing the entire game

So a team that lost deserves a spot over a team that is undefeated? Ah, only in the SEC can you get rewarded for losing.

actually they should be rewarded for beating good teams.

like i said, that two loss LSU team went on to win.... so, you can't spin that. SEC bias didnt win the game

and they won convincingly
it's not a complicated argument. You wouldn't say Northern Illinois deserves it because they went undefeated. Id sill gave the nod to a one loss Big ten, ACC, SEC team over them. it's the same argument. a 1 loss SEC team is probably better than a big 10 undefeated. history has proven that.

SEC Bros are mad

Both losses were in overtime and Arkansas actually was not bad IIRC.

That said, it is obvious the BCS only cared about the conference LSU plays in because the Big 12 North had two one-loss teams ranked in the top five that year.

Quote:Now we know what the matchups are for all BCS conference championship games next week.

Pacific 12: Stanford vs. Arizona State

Big Ten: Ohio State vs. Michigan State

ACC: Florida State vs. Duke

SEC: Auburn vs. Missouri

I will add their rank numbers when they change.

What do you expect to happen at these games?

ASU

OS

FSU

MO

NIU is not in a BCS conference, so it can't be used in your argument. Unlike Boise State a few years ago, NIU was never ranked in the top five this season. Nobody is saying a MAC team should get in the BCS NCG.

In 2007, the only undefeated FBS team was Hawaii. The BCS should have put two one-loss teams in the NCG, not one with two losses. And yes, there were one-loss teams in other conferences.

I dont know that I'd go as far as to say the SEC champ deserves a spot.  However if FSU and Ohio St play in the national title game, I think you can very easily make the case that winning the SEC was a more difficult task than winning the national title this season.
