Quote:What people? The in-conference schedule is difficult enough. It's about 10x more difficult to run the table in the SEC than any other conference, especially the Big 10 or ACC.
Now that you say the ACC is weak, I want to know why FSU is #1 instead of Auburn.

Maybe because they're undefeated and Auburn has a loss?

FSU has blown out everybody and auburn has a loss
if the polls were as biased as some here think, auburn would be 1 or 2

Exactly. Only the fans are biased. If the polls say FSU and OSU, who are not in the SEC, are better than Auburn, then yes, they are better than Auburn. And their records prove it.

not really, you can only prove who is better by watching them play eachother
Quote:Not really. You can only prove who is better by watching them play each other.
Until that happens, the only way to know who is better is look at the nation's longest winning streak.

it doesn't mean that much in the big 10
their record doesn't prove they are better than any of the top teams. it only proves that they beat the teams they played, and most of those arent too good

Aren't too good, just because you say so, right? All SEC people do is claim "Oh, that conference isn't good." You know what conference isn't good? A conference that hasn't had one season since the BCS era started where they had the best bowl record, despite playing all their bowl games at home. That's a conference that isn't that good.

Which conference is that?

I believe that would be the Southeastern Conference. But in fairness to the SEC, the only other conference not to win a bowl challenge cup title is the almighty Sun Belt.

no, not just me. most of the nation that isn't an Ohio state fan realizes that their schedule has been easy
the SEC has the most bowl wins. do u really believe the big 10 is as good as the SEC?

We don't pay our athletes to attend our schools, so no. Lol :p

Ohio State fans are fully aware the Big Ten is a bad conference. The problem is SEC team fans refusing to acknowledge the fact that a win is a win no matter who the opponent is.

Since the BCS era, the Big Ten has played the SEC almost even in bowl games, and all of those bowl games are in SEC territory. If all of the bowl games were in the midwest, I guarantee the Big Ten would lead by a healthy margin.

didnt Ohio state just have that thing with Pryor?

by almost even, you mean....???
apparently its 21 to 17. The SEC however is 7-2 against the BIG 10 the past three years in Jan 1 bowl games.
I think the Big 10 has had some pretty good teams the past several years (Wisconsin, Michigan St., Ohio St). Recently that has not been the case. They were 2-5 in bowl games last year.

OSU never paid Pryor anything. He got into trouble by himself. Stop trying to change the facts.

i think its funny how the "bottom dweller" of the SEC Miss. St. completely housed Mich in 2011.
Miss St. is often considered a blemish on the SEC's roster of teams. That isn't always the case and teams like them and Ole Miss will probably prove that they are no pushover this bowl season.
