"I've been very clear from the day that I came here we're doing everything we can to make the team fit in Jacksonville," Khan said. "I said that over and over again. Deeds not words are what's here. So look at actions. They speak a lot louder than words." - Shad Khan

And yet still he's leaving his options open.

"Well we tried to make it work in Jax but we couldn't, onward to London"
Thanks for the update.

There are some real loons making comments. And some of those people vote. Lord help us.

Do you want him to come to your house and pat you on the head, while telling you it's going to be ok?

He's not an idiot. Of course he keeps his options open. I'll just assume you aren't a business owner.

Was Wayne Weaver a business owner? He had no problem slamming the door on any relocation talks.

Read the stadium lease Weaver had with the city. He had his outs too.

You mean the iron clad lease some of you keep citing as the reason why Khan won't be able to leave?

That's what you took from the quote? Just keep on trolling.
The following quote from that article is good news:

Quote:Council members did have questions concerning the water feature that's part of the scoreboard project. It will not be a swimming pool, but more of a fountain for aesthetic reasons.

I could never envision swimming pools working in a stadium setting. What I could envision, a floating Baby Ruth bar released by a Caddyshack fan, didn't help.

I'm crushed.  I was looking forward to seeing how they planned to allow people to utilize the pool, and I envisioned very much the same thing you referenced.  Caddy Day! 1:00-1:15.

Local radio just reported at the top of the hour that Khan reiterated his commitment to making the team work here in an attempt to once again debunk the relocation talk.  Audio from the owner was included.

"Khan told Citu Council stadium improvements will create a "sustainable, long term" NFL franchise for Jax. "

Then again, not sure why I waste my time, because I'm pretty sure there are still folks who don't care WHAT he says and will never be satisfied.
Gotta admit...pools in the stadium does sound sweet...too bad.

Hey wait, don't you play football there too? IT'S BEEN HARD TO TELL LATELY!

( Big Grin Naw, really, I hope your stadium works out.)

Nothing beats Cannons going off after every FG in blowout losses
I KNOW, RIGHT? THAT NUMBER ONE PICK IS GONNA BE SWEET! Big Grin

You might want to preorder that Clowney Jersey after allBeatles. The Buccaneers might get the 3rd pick of the draft.  There's no stopping Matty Ice from putting your top draft picks hope out in the cold.

That's what they said when they lost Roddy and Julio.

I can see it now.

Game tied, with just 30 seconds left on the clock.  Looks like it might go into overtime.  Where the Buccaneers will inevitably lose with a bad punt (On that note, do you think you'll draft a punter in the 3rd round this year?  Just wondering.  That's what we did when our punting was terrible.)... then Matt Ryan -- INTERCEPTION -- and in all the excitement, Revis takes it for a touchdown leaving just 5 seconds on the clock, and no time for the Falcons to make a return.

See now, what you just discribed has actually happened in the exact opposite way to the Bucs before. We will be leading, and then--well--let me illustrate:

If we get the #1 pick, of course. But I have no idea what that has to do with getting a new scoreboard with a water feature.

Are you saying Atlanta will get the #2 pick? The Falcons have as many wins as the Texans, Steelers, and Giants, so I don't believe that.
