Quote:My boy Dan Feeney is playing Utah right now on Fox he's #67 and the RT
I love Dan Feeney, but I believe he goes in the late first round. I can't wait to see Pat Elflein, Ethan Pocic and Taylor Moton play as well I think they have a better shot to reach the 2nd or 3rd round range, although Elflein could be selected in the late first round as well. He is a solid pass protector and excellent run blocker.
Such a beautiful set of plays from Feeney there!!! Think I'm in love!

I hope you're not right but I feel that you are. I mean he's probably my favorite prospect in the class besides Garrett. If we trade down I'd love to snag him

Agreed. He's a safe pick. Plug him in at OG or even RT and you have a solid NFL starter for years to come. He's a solid run blocker and in 45 career games, he's only allowed 2 sacks.
In no particular order:
Haason Reddick, Edge dude, Temple - Your prototypical Rush 'backer but from a small school. He racked up 9.5 sacks this year and his sack production has increased every season. He posted 149 Total Tackles over his career with 47 of them being of the "For Loss" category. He's a bit undersized as he is listed at 6' 1", 230 but I think a late Second or Third Round flyer on him is worth it due to his production alone.
Derek Barnett, End-Type, Tennessee - Arrived in Knoxville to a lot of hype and has lived up to it in my opinion. 31 sacks over a three year career and the versatility to move inside when needed. I don't see All Pro Defensive End in his future, but I can see him being an Osi Umenyiora clone. Gimme!
James Connor, RB, Pitt - I just dig this guy's style.
Stacy Coley, WR, Da 'U - Gotta love Miami wideouts.
A small school guy I like is Adam Shaheen, TE from Ashland. There isn't a lot of video of him but from all I hear he is a freak athlete. He is a 6'6" 277 former basketball player that tore up D2 with 57 catches for 867 yards and 16 TDs. He appears to be the Division 2 version of Gronk and just declared early for the NFL draft; he could be a good sleeper pick going into the draft.
Also, I like Sam Rogers the FB/H-Back from VT. If he were available at the end of the draft, I would seriously consider him. He reminds me a bit of Kyle Juszczyk in that he's not just a good run blocker, but he can do it all - running, catching, ST, etc. I definitely think our running game suffered without a FB so I would like to see one brought in.
After watching some recent bowl games and getting to see players I haven't really watched a lot of...
Jamall Williams RB BYU
Pumphrey RB San Diego ST
Orion Stewart SS Baylor
mid round prospects
I dunno if they are "crushes" I ain't really that emotionally involved. haha
One guy who impresses me more and more each time I see him is Carlos Henderson, WR from La. Tech. On top of being one of the best receivers in the country, he is also one of the most exciting return men as well. We desperately lack a return man who strikes fear into opposing cover teams. Henderson could come in and be that type of kick returner for us as well as challenge for a starting WR slot. I know WR is pretty far down our list of needs, but as far as I'm concerned, a breakout type of return man is one of our top 7 needs (RB, OG, RT, DE, SS, CB, KR.)
Bucky Hodges plays today if anyone wants to watch a beast of a TE! That FB Hustler mentioned is good 2.
Last year, I was all over Yannick.
This year.... I'm digging Tak from UCLA and Kareem Hunt

This is why the Jaguars should not take a running back like Fournette in the 1st. You have 2 guys who can be selected much later who may turn out like Jordan Howard, Kenneth Dixon and other mid to late round steals at this position (too many to name).
Haven't seen enough of all the prospects to make a comprehensive list, but right now these are the 4 guys I would love to see end up Jaguars.
1. Myles Garrett- No way he makes it to pick 4, however.
2. Pat Mahomes- Only in round 2. The best prospect at q.b., but will need time to develop. Very unlikely he is there, either, following post-season workouts.
3. DeShawn Watson- Not as much upside as Mahomes, but he'd be worth a shot in the 2nd round if Mahomes is gone. Jaguars do not need a homerun at q.b., just a guy who
can be a good game-manager and won't single-handedly lose games like "you know who." Watson could turn out to be as good as Mariotta, which is
good enough.
4. Dan Feeney- Plug this guy in at guard for the next 10 years and won't have to worry about the position.
It will be a tough choice for Caldwell if Feeney and one of the quarterbacks are available. If the Jags sign someone like Zeitler, I'd go for the q.b.
I'd love to say Cook is mine but the more I watch Demarcus Walker the more like him. Smart kid to come back for his senior year.
Derek Barnett man...I think he is going to really rise up. Right now he's generally projected top 15, I see no reason why he couldn't go top 5.
Anyone else watching him against NEB?

Yep. Felt bad for that tackle attempting to guard him. Just on different levels as players.

The guy is a monster. I don't see how he doesn't jump up to top 5-8 in the draft. I really don't.

I'd say he's a lock for that already no?

Don't think so...pretty sure most have him mid 1st. Some may put him in the top 10, but I haven't seen that as a widely viewed thing.

He impressed the heck out of me watching some of his games this season that I finally got to watch the other day. Now watching this, they have no answer. No idea why we wouldn't look at going edge. What other position would we go for? Allen is a 3T, Garrett will be gone, Fournette/Cook at RB? Humphrey at CB (back to back drafts going corner top 5? Don't think so but he's a hell of a player). No OT's worth it. No QB worth it (nor would we take a QB this high I don't think anyway).
Just keep padding it on to the defense unless you feel Fournette or Cook are going to be elite game changing RB's (I think they will be, but even while thinking that I still am taking the top end edge rusher like Barnett all day).
Edit: IDC that Allen is likely a 3T (also 5T though), he's imo barely behind Garrett as an overall talent. I'd love if we got him somehow, just saying he's less of a need than an edge IMO. You want more than 1 good edge rusher (I believe in Fowler, but he hasn't shown enough to act as if it's not something to worry about next year. Pressure has been way too inconsistent).
