Quote:I am not a Jacksonville Jaguars fan....yet. You probably know what i am going to say here. Tebow. Do I think he can come in and immediately fix your offense?  probably not.  If you give him some time and build the offense around his unique skill set you would put fans in those seats and might even be proud to be a Jaguar fan in a year or so. What do you have to lose?

I stopped reading at "I am not a Jacksonville Jaguars fan... yet."

At that point I could not care.  If you aren't an unconditional fan of this team, we don't want you.

I know but NFL shop won't allow to create a jersey with a college player real last name and number.

I argued that Tebow would be a better option than Gabbert...  I should make it clear that keeping Tblow beyond this season is not what I was debating--AT ALL.

As I see the post above I'm reminded of why I was against Tebow coming to the Jags since he was a Gator.  He'd be like a virus that would consume everything.  That's what we'd have to lose.

With that said, I'd rather watch a Tbro offense than a Gabbert offense.  Gabbert is just pitiful and painful to watch.  While T-doh also can't throw, he can scramble, and occasionally seems to find an open man deep down flield.  Bottom line, I know have changed my position to neither for this season or the future.

Thank you for the shock back into reality, Graegwis!

That's pretty close to Leftwich's motion.  Bazinga again!

Close.  But I think it's a bit worse!
Quote:… Fisch said backup quarterback Ricky Stanzi is a “studious worker” with a “really good grasp of our plan.” Fisch said Stanzi could run the offense if Henne was injured.

We don't want Tebow fans. We want Jaguars fans.

The irony I find in all of this is that you have a man that can spread a positive message and is highly regarded within his beautiful religion, yet all of you so selfishly want him to waste his precious gift playing a child's game.
I want Brett Hundley from UCLA, actually I think he is the best QB prospect that could be available this year.

Edit: I refuse to vote as all choices sicken me
Me, too.

Quote:I've seen more then enough of gabbert/henne.  Lets see what stanzi can do

Why not.

I was a Gabbert supporter but I've seen enough. Give him a clipboard. Stanzi probably isn't any good either (what do I know) but I can't watch BG scramble out the pocket when there's no pressure any more. He's chicken soup to me.
Let Henne play a quarter and if he stinks it up, throw Stanzi in there.. He's an unknown factor, as there isn't any recent game film on him and the Broncos haven't game-planned for him.. Let's see what he's got.

After watching Mariota yesterday, I really wouldnt be upset with if we got him if we end up with the #2-3 pick and miss out on Teddy.

I'm not sold on Teddy...yet...

Why would they pull Henne after a bad quarter but not pull Gabbert for 3 years of stinking up the joint?
Maybe they've learned the error of their ways?
Henne's good game yesterday was disastrous for this team's chances to win a game this year, because now it gives him a pass to start the rest of the year.

Fine by me!  I say we see what the kid's got.  His hair is that of a greek god standing high on olympus as the sun sets and a soft breeze blows, somewhere zeus tightens his gaze on his women who swoon at this adonis in teal
