Quote:All i can say is Vote for Michelle next election and ignore the excuses for Trump by Republicans. The excuses get old and a new election is only 3 years and 11 months away. If Obama had hell getting things passed through Congress then let's hope Trump goes through hell as well.

I had to accept that nothing for the African American race would get changed because of the headache changing things for multiple races caused. If people cant agree on a change for everyone then i know they wouldn't give a darn about one race of people. I just hope that the same struggles one party has to accept, the other does as well.

What the hell are you talking about? What does race have to do with this topic?
Quote:Wow.

No [BLEEP] kidding.
Quote:No [BAD WORD REMOVED] kidding.
You really can't fix stupid.

He probably doesn't want to know who won the house and Senate I am guessing...
Quote:Exactly.  This article is nothing more than democrat click bait.  Trump has been consistent in saying repeal and replace.  There were always going to be parts that they would retain in any replacement option.  This notion that he's not going to deliver on that plan is completely misleading.  Congress is already working on the legislation based on past attempts to get the ACA repealed and replaced.  Even Ryan has indicated that they will be ready to move the legislation through both houses.

The problem is Trump never offered a plan for making sure all of the good stuff will not go away at the time it is repealed or what will be included/excluded in a new law. What do you think is going to happen between repealing that law and a new law being passed? Everything goes back to the way it was during that time period because there is no law to control the insurance companies, of course.
We took a high performance Corvette that only needed new tires, and traded it in on a brand new lemon that was so bad, it wasn't even running and had to be pushed off the lot and still can't even idle correctly.

Quote:There's a middle ground.
An insurance company has to cover pre-existing conditions only if the person already has insurance.
If you change jobs and switch from one insurance company to another, the new company has to accept you. If you lose your job, then you need to keep up the insurance payments through COBRA.

But flsprtsgod is right. Those problems go away if individuals, rather than corporations, bought policies. A good start would be for medical insurance to be tax exempt. Corporations get to write it off as an operating expense, but individuals don't.
The red is bad, and that is how it used to be before Obamacare. Screws a lot of people. I completely agree with the second paragraph tho. We really need to transition away from Employer Sponsored Healthcare plans. Employers (especially large ones) have shown time and time again that they won't do right by their employees (think Enron etc). Healthcare should not be dependent on your job status. It lets too many things fall thru the cracks.

We would be better off with a completely cash system (fee for service), or a true government option, but what we have now is a crony system where everyone loses. People shouldn't go bankrupt just because they get sick. For profit insurance (or hospitals for that matter) has no place in healthcare IMO.

Maybe if you watched the news, any news you have seen on multiple outlets the plan is do both at the same time.

Everything.

The President has only so much room to work. Do you really think if Obama took a MLK approach to the presidency he would've been elected? Did you really think we wanted a black president just cause? Obama was a slap in the face to blacks and due to being ..... over the years we just accepted the effort from america. Just like African americans getting housing and rights only to be handcuffed with them and still treated unfairly but hey, we got to use the fountain and should be happy we aren't "slaves" anymore. At least we aren't the only minority really anymore so we can't complain any longer.

All in all, The President is still for the majority and since that includes multiple cultures who are either priviledged or minorities, who really gets top priority. Government drives the car and we just enjoy the ride best we can as citizens. if you think for once these appointed\elected officials really care and will fix the real problems you're delusional.

Maybe some day you'll get a dose of Common Sense and confirm your belief.

Maybe in your head what you're trying to say is making sense, but it's getting lost in the translation to whatever that is you just wrote.
