As far as box scores, I used game by game breakdowns for the numbers. Not the Monday paper.
See before you were just Blake was better. Now we  have the backtrack where you admit Cousins is better but you don't agree on the price. We're getting there. What do you think the price difference should be between a below average QB and a below average QB?

Considering my Monday papers don't have any NFL news that's an odd one. If you think my take on Cousins>Bortles is incorrect I'd like to hear why from a gameplay standpoint. Apart from run, what does Blake do better than Cousins as a Qb?
In no way, shape, or form did I say Cousins was better!

More than half of his numbers show up when down 2 or more possessions. Garbage time quarterback!

Do you feel Cousins is better than Manziel ? Being you rated him so high, wanted to know if he had the same potential?

Pretty much game over!

A 10 point game is not garbage time.

If he had to come back to get it to 10, it is. At least according to 75% of this forum regarding a certain quarterback's 2015 season.

This is my last response to a comment unrelated to the topic. So if somebody wants to challenge me for hiding again, go ahead and start a Cousins discussion in the league forum.

So let's keep it nice and simple. Based on your watching of them, what do you think Blake does better than Cousins as a QB? I would say Blake's a better runner and that's it. What do you think?

Manziel? Tell me more about me supposedly having Manziel rated so high?

Kirk never lead the league in pass attempts at any particular season, so that “garbage time” theory is straight up [BLEEP]
Now we wait for Atburg again...

Well you know what they say about ifs and buts. It’s your stat so why don’t you state it if that’s the case?
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/l...career.htm

Bortles is listed #6

Kirk Cousins #16

Under Greg Olsen the run game was non-existence. Everytime the Jaguars were down by two TDs to start the 2nd half, thet went pass happy the entire game. Thats a great definition of garbage time stat. Blake Bortles is all that.

Just pointing out that this fantasy that the Titans trolls, and apparently ( judging by your defensive responses) a few others on the straws.that think he is some sort of superstar in the making ,are grabbing at straws.

For argument sake

Brady

Roethlisberger

Rivers

Smith

Carr ( not as much of a gap, as in the past)

Wentz

Stafford

Keenum

Brees

Goff

Wilson

There is 11

Could argue Winston

Not sure where I said Mariota would be a superstar. Believe the terms I've used have been above average.

So you believe Bortles has been a top 12 QB this year?

Brady
Brees
Wentz
Cousin
Ryan
Big Ben
Stafford
Rivers
Tyrod
Smith
Wilson
Keenum
Carr
Cam
Manning
McCown
Prescott
Dalton

Theres 18 names who have played QB better than Blake this year. Then you have guys like Watson and Aaron Rodgers who have played better but for injured.

Might want to take the L here pal.

Of the QBs listed here I believe Bort has played better than or as well as a handful of them. Outside of around 2 games, Cam has been pretty awful this year. Prescott is garbage without tyron and zeke in the lineup. Awful accuracy with anything intermediate. Dalton and Bortles kinda look like the same QB. Mccown has a high completion percentage but still makes a lot of decisions like a career backup. That pass against the dolphins earlier this year was probably the worst decision/pass I've ever seen. I know you're a big Tyrod fan, but I just don't see it. To me he's on or around the same level as Blake. The one I take most issue with is Eli. Bort has the same TD/int ratio. Is averaging almost a yard more per attempt, and offers a whole other element with his rushing ability. I'm not sure if you actually watych the giants games or just look at stats, but Eli is done. His arm strength is noticeably down, and his accuracy with anything more than 5 yards downfield is extremely sporadic. I think Bortles sits in the 15-20 range. Slightly below average QB, but it could be a lot worse. You and KYjelly act as if we are stuck with the worst QB situation in the NFL. If we are looking at AFC QBs only there are only 3 quarterbacks that I can say with complete confidence are playing at a significantly higher level than Bortles. Big Ben, Tom, and Phillip. All of thr rest are debatable.

Prescott and Cam have been better than Blake this year despite their struggles. Dalton too, he's been good the last few weeks. As for Eli he's been pretty much the only thing on the Giants offense producing bar Engram. His line, run game and receivers are all bad. Tyrods been playing better than Blake despite nothing around him too.

And no I've never said that we have the worst QB situation. If you look at anything I've posted it's just been about Blake being below average and there being around 18-20 QBs better than him this year. You say 15-20. Not a huge leap.

My gripe with the whole Bortles thing is people are using this year as evidence that we should keep him next year. When he's being below average in almost every way.

Considering he has has an improving line, run game, and #1 defense.

I hate when people say “well his WRs are injured” ... and? A good QB is suppose to make his teammates better! Especially the WRs!
Yeah, it's almost as bad as someone not giving credit to Bortles because the Ravens didn't prepare properly for the London game.

Don't you hate that...

Kirk never lead the league in pass attempts at any particular season, so that “garbage time” theory is straight up bullsh*t.

So is your take on Ramsey's attitude in interviews. Way to beat the profanity filter btw, nobody knows what you said there.

You're right.  Mariota sucks.  If I were an inbred tack fan, I'd be pretty worried.
