While he has some potential he's not what I would want in a QB.

The one major thing he had going for him for me was he took care of the football and now this year he is having problems doing that too.
Clots already on TEN side of field. A TD on this drive would be huge, but I will take any kind of points.

Clots walk away from drive with no points and 3 point lead while pinning the tacks on the 2 yard line. Crucial time of game right here.

No points, but ball downed at the 1
Nice punt
Fat boy gets 10 yards on run. Not good.
Mariota should be eating this secondary up. Davis is gone, no Hooker
tacks driving it down the field. We need a turnover badly.

Nice. Challenge and overturned. Clots have the ball back. Lets get a long, sustained drive here!
3 and out. Not good.
Fat boy is gashing them in the run game now.

Game over.
It was fun while it lasted. TEN eeks out another win against a mediocre team to stay 1 game behind us. A 2 game cushion would have been nice.

Another 3 and out for Indy. How does Pagano still have a job?

They should be thankful Mariota willed them to create that fumble by Mack at the 4. Unfortunately it was the turning point.
Indy getting beaten like a rented mule now. They had a 10 point lead and all they had to do was manage the game properly and play a little defense. Has Indy EVER helped us out?
Text from my friend:

"Mariota 7-4, only stat that matters"

I'm sorry, you can't attribute this win to Mariota. The clots fumbled their way out of it and then forgot how to stop a RB. Mariota didn't lose the game, but he didn't do anything in the second half except one pass to Davis.

What was it MariGOATa said after the Chargers game? Oh I remember "Bortles tried his best to give the game away", guess the name is interchangeable.

This is how the tacks have played most of the year and against lesser opponents. Going to suck if they back their way into the playoffs or worse, win the division only to get smoked the first good team they meet. A dang rash that won't go away!

Bortles 7-3 only stat that matters?

But seriously grats to the titans for squeaking by the colts.  Laughing
Mariota certainly hasn't impressed lately, but i must say i think robiskie may be the worst playcaller in the league. I actually think my buddy mularkey may have taken over the calls in the fourth quarter, as the Titans pull off a win in lupus oil stadium.

Oh and other than his picks, Mariota made some great throws.

Back in first place after today lol
I’m right here.

Today, Henry & the defense won us this game. But it doesnt change the fact that Mariota has eginereed more game winning drives than Bortles this year playing injured.
Sure Mariota is having the worst stretch of his career right now, but he has shown long stretches of legitimate pro bowl caliber play in his career too. Luck is the only other player that can say that. Anyone ranking Bortles ahead of Mariota is utterly and completely biased.
