I thought he played well but when you throw 50+ passes you can't expect a clean game.
You need your defense to help and they did.
Look at favre and all his picks, the defense usually gets the.ball back.
That pass in OT to Lee should of been 100% caught by your starting #1
He's been better than I thought he'd be this year while also showing he's still not the guy long term.

The one in the endzone was, not the overtime ball. That was right on his hands.
He played well guys, pull it together. This game was a little concerning, but it Blake wasn't part of it.

I agree! The throw on his second pick was on him, but he was able to sustain some drives with his arm and legs today. And at the end of the day all that matters is ---- 6-3 !!!!

He was ok but 2 interceptions that was clearly bad throwing is concerning. The defense won this game.

Just making the point that he's still Bortles. He still throws awful turnovers at the worst times.

Aren't you the guy who said Bortles was "top dog" in the AFC south all of last year?
I'd still take Tyrod over Blake.
Bortles is the best qb in afc south right now.

I would agree.
His decision making has grown but he’s still not consistently accurate. Usually, the farther the ball travels the worse it gets.
We are now officially on a streak,
Good teams figure out a way to win these games. Bad teams don't.

When the pressure is on he crumbles, as said in the game thread. I get his desire to make a play, probably the same will and determination as Brady or Rogers when on a game winning drive. But it has the opposite effect on Bortles. Whereas those guys get extremely focused and see the field clearer, Bortles starts seeing things that aren't there: receivers who are blanketed, he sees them open and forces it. His pocket presence is turd level, etc.

Two weeks in a row where Mariota leads the Titans to game winning drives. Nice try.

The real issue is why have the last three games required last minute heroics? I can agree Mariota is the best QB in the AFC South, but that is like arguing over who’s the tallest midget.
really lucky san diego dropped the easiest pick 6 ever.
he stinks and I have zero trust in him in close games

That drive to tie it up was impressive. The fake punt was a gutsy call. This was a total team effort.

Took Marcus 4 quarters to beat the Bengals, took Blake 1.
Did everything in his power to throw this game away. If he throws more than 15 yards its always a bad play waiting to happen. So lucky Chargers dropped an easy pick six, dropped an wide open Allen TD in the endzone in the first half.
Jags defense is awesome, but Bortles shows no growth, and he is still one of the worst players on offense.

It isnt his fault his WRs drop wide open passes. The game could of easily been 30 plus.

That is totally correct. No way we can count on him to bring the team back when trailing late in games. The coaches have done a good job with him this year and I do expect the team to make the playoffs. Blake will get picked up by another team like Gabbert, but will never be a competent starter.

But I thought the defense was overrated? This is funny coming from you, with that beauty from Mariota after the second Dalton fumble. You never would've needed to come back if he took care of the ball.
