Still pulling for him, and I'd love for him to prove me wrong, but still just a few too many of the same mistakes.

Jags defense is awesome, but Bortles shows no growth, and he is still one of the worst players on offense.

But I thought the defense was overrated? This is funny coming from you, with that beauty from Mariota after the second Dalton fumble. You never would've needed to come back if he took care of the ball.

Overrated in terms of being one of the best to ever play. Big difference. Mariota makes plays in the pocket that Bortles wishes he could. Pin point passes. Two back to back games where he drives the team to game winning drives without the run game being nonexistence all day.

They didn’t run the ball in the 4th AT ALL...defenses KNEW this and went to a nichel/dime defense. On top of that, Bosa was in the damn backfield on almost EVERY PLAY...you can’t seriously expect any QB to play great under those circumstances.

In OT, they started running the ball again and all of a sudden, the Chargers looked vulnerable until penalties ruined the drive.

Titans abonded the run game too just like the Jaguars did. Just because you are forced to pass the ball more than you would like too doesnt mean its a bad thing. Today was a proven fact that if you guys are down in tight games you cant count on Bortles winning you games. The guy crumbles, especially if the heavy pass rush.

Pretty sure you didnt watch the game. Mariota was the leading rusher today. With 3:00 he took the team down the field to win the game.

Streamed both the Jags and Bengals games! Mariota got 60% of his yards on one run. Did you watch the game? He was second on the team in rushing, not first. So pretty sure YOU DIDN'T watch the game.

Bortles is the best qb in afc south right now.

i figure you could pull it off against the Bengals but like I said, the rest of the way 3 games maybe 4 max

He's become our version of QB purgatory. Bortles does it differently than Dalton/Schaub/Garrard did, but ultimately he's become good enough that we aren't going to be candidates for the top QBs anymore but also probably not good enough to lead us to a deep playoff run.

While he is cheap that's fine you can build around him with expensive assets. Just as long as we don't make the mistake those aforementioned other teams did and give him the long term extension that costs us some of the guys that are currently carrying the team instead of Blake.
