Must be hard sacking Gus. Like putting a dog down

Khan is a smart guy, he's not going to tell a newspaper his gut reaction to a game and call for his coaches head before talking with him.

I think there is still chance that Khan will fire him in the next 24hours.

Quote:@samkouvaris Sources confirmed and Khan told the TU in Nashville tonight no coaching change for the Jaguars. #Jaguars
Khan going to sleep on the visitors take of gate receipts tonight.  Everyone is already paid for 2016 so no need to address the problem now. Time to make franchise history and get that first overall pick.

Exactly be unprofessional.
Quote:Khan is so clueless that he doesn't even know what to do

I would give him the benefit of the doubt the next 3 days.
Quote:Yeah I don;t get it either. And the frustration on the team clearly shows the players care. They are missing out on the "basics" as Simms put it. It's a horribly coached team

It is obvious anyone who thinks the players don't care either just listens to game on the radio or turns his head away from the TV during replays. You can't possibly see their body language and think they don't care.

Thanks for quoting a thoughtful post by somebody on my ignore list.
Quote:It means something. Maybe Gus Bradley will travel to Kansas City, then get fired before the Texans game. Who knows?

The only way I can picture Gus Bradley traveling to Kansas City anytime soon is if he has relatives or friends he wants to visit.    The Jaguars certainly didn't play like they want Gus Bradley to go to Kansas City with them.
He wouldn't say there won't be a coaching though. If firing him was on his mind he'd have a different response.
Quote:You guys are pathetic. If Shad Khan was incompetent, an idiot, or whatever derogatory term you call him, he would not have hired the best GM in team history, Dave Caldwell.

I'm not sure why anybody responds to you, because you're clearly [BLEEP], but here goes. The best GM in team history was a guy named Coughlin, the man that drafted players like Tony Boselli, Kevin Hardy, Fred Taylor, Donovan Darius, John Henderson and Marcus Stroud. He also signed key free agents like Jimmy Smith, Keenan McCardell and Mark Brunell. Caldwell has yet to come within one billion miles of that.

That is where you are in fact wrong.  They made a statement loud and clear.  We want Gus gone.  27-0 first half against a division rival.  Says it loud and clear.
Quote:Good god, what the hell does it matter either way? This team isn't going to the playoffs. So, we go 6-10 instead of 3-13/4-12 with Gus?

I want him fired and fired now. This was a pathetic performance. But I have no idea what the difference is to you guys. Bortles mechanics are shot this year. That doesn't improve in-season, that's an offseason thing. We are topping out with 3-4 more wins with 9 games left regardless who is at the helm. It's looking more and more like the lesser regardless of who is coaching.

Even if the Jaguars season is shot,  which I don't agree with in that division,   a major focal point is getting players that are expected to be part of the team's future back on track.   I can't see how they can continue the current course.

Have you ever had to put a dog down? It is not a similar situation. Firing Gus Bradley is just a "let's move on to make things better" decision. Nobody is fixing anything or trying to move on from something when he/she tells a dog goodbye for the last time.

I blocked her garbage, and I'm better off. She's dump, to say it kindly.

It is sad because the players love Gus Bradley as a person. He is a "players coach." I am crying for them right now.
Quote:There is a difference to anyone who cares about the Jaguars. You don't want the team to lose more games. We know the Jaguars will lose more games. We know Gus Bradley just needs to miss the playoffs to get fired in January.

Gus Bradley might have been retained if the Jaguars went 8-8 or even 7-9 that displayed promise for the future.   It's probably now a moot point because it's hard to imagine Bradley being retained for all 16 games.   I truly believe he's coached his final game as Jaguars HC and very likely as an NFL HC unless it's an interim HC coach with another team at some point down the road.

NFL.com has a video of Allen Robinson throwing his helmet on the sideline. Does that tell you he does not care?

Gus Bradley seems like a very good person.   That shouldn't change when he enters the next phase of his life.

He is frustrated cause went from top 100 player to out of the elite group this season.  Some due to butter fingers the rest due to Bortles and his way off passes.

Why did I find this so funny?!
