Just wondering why these players thought the tab was comped? Then when it wasn’t they’d rather argue and get arrested then just one of them pay it and square it up the next day. I do agree it’s very juvenile when you’re a millionaire... they should be suspended by the front office. And we should easily lose this game since we have very little depth with all the injuries and now suspensions.
My bigger problem is why are they out at 4am? What happened to curfews and business first?

They definitely should be in the hotel, but I doubt they have switched time zones. It wasn't that late for them.
I really hope TC lays down the law. Obviously it hasn't worked from the going back to training camp that they had the last week.
I don't really care what players do in their spare time.

Will be interesting what the internal discipline is considering Church and Harrison are both gonna play.

I have a few questions I'd like answered one way or another...
- When JDR was the head coach they had a curfew and a head count at the hotel? What are they doing out at 4:00 am. I take it Marrone wants to treat them like men and not like children? Is it just, meet you at the game?
- How in the world do four players rack up a $64,000 bar bill? Can someone at least try to explain this? Does this mean they were actually getting drunk the day before a key game?
- So, this happened at 4 am Saturday morning. They were held for nine hours, so that puts their release at some time after 1 pm. Did they miss practice?

No practice Saturday (unless they were punishing them for their bad play). Who knows if they were having any meetings or PR stuff on Saturday.
$64,000 isn't a lot. They probably got some top shelf bottles, plus vip table, plus table service, etc. It's a racket. It also doesn't mean they were really drinking, there could have been a bunch of freeloaders looking to score a lottery ticket.
I guess the positive is they got arrested and couldn't make any further bad decisions that night to get them suspended for a long time.
Honestly they should be suspended for this game, but I just don't see how that's possible considering our Secondary is already all banged up...

I thought Hayden wasn't going to play, so why is he even there? Shouldn't he be back in Jacksonville rehabbing?
If you suspend those 4 (3 really), that leaves FS Gipson and S Cody Davis...
Then you have Ramsey and 3 UDFA rookie CBs (one of which was just brought up from the PS this week)...
Not a good look.

That's what I was thinking. There's almost no way they could suspend them. I hoping there's some other form of discipline they can hand out. Maybe they can be forced to help clean up the stadium during their bye week.

I'm thinking no bye week, full pads every day, put them in the indoor practice field, turn on the heat, make it 100 degrees ... the whole team pays and then maybe they will start focusing on their job

I guess the one positive we can take away from all of this nonsense, is the fact that Ramsey wasn't involved... Could you imagine the amount of cry and whine on this board, not to mention the public out cry and backlash this would have caused... Maybe Ramsey isn't as immature as some of you posters on here try to make him out to be.

I wouldn’t mess with another man’s money especially after they forked over $64 g’s.

They just may. Keep an eye out on the inactives list in the morning. Or the team could dock everyone involved a full game check. Either option would send a message.

The players union might not like the idea of guys playing without getting paid.
There should be an option besides suspension. What if the whole team was there? Suspend everybody?

They should all blame church, hes been the worst player on our team this year. He can be the fall guy.
