You are the one to make the claim that that they along with half the team "spent Saturday recovering from hangovers" rather than preparing for Sunday's game.

So which is more likely?

As far as booze to females and the club sending booze to the table, it's a very common scam.  I don't know how many clubs you have been to in foreign countries, but it is quite common and I have seen it first hand.  Perhaps research the term "clip joint".

Sounds like you're assuming something without facts... as I've been told... that's a no no... do you have something from the club saying it's to females? Assumptions assumptions... so idiotic to make... am I doing this right?

Not really.

You made the claim that "half the team" went out on Friday night and "Instead of using Saturday to prep, they are recovering from hangovers".  Your words not mine.  What evidence is there to make that conclusion?

I never said that any of my "assumptions" were fact, I just pointed out the probability of what took place.  It's very probable that young wealthy males in a foreign country went out on the town to a club on their night off.  I also pointed out the possibility that they were victims of a common scam that happens in certain countries.  That would certainly explain the high price tag.

The bottom line is I presented my opinion based on what has been reported along with my personal experience.  You presented your opinion based on your own assumption without basing it on fact.  Just because the bar tab was pricey doesn't mean that "half the team was out on the town" and "Instead of using Saturday to prep, they are recovering from hangovers".  Again those quotes are your words not mine.

These are grown men and professionals.  It's not a high school team.  As some have commented, to suggest that they have a curfew on their night off in a foreign country is a bit much.

Agreed it's not. When Deion joined the 49ers the in 90's you heard leaders like Rice say they wouldnt stand for any baggage but come to help us win. This team not only lacks an identity, which I had to argue this NYC guy that it was a run based team last year because he said they weren't, but it lacks leadership and accountability. The team needs someone or something to reel them in. All all this talent is worthless without leadership guys, very immature team.

I really have no dog in this fight, but you keep twisting everything.

Carry on.
Buuuuuuwwwwaaaaaaa!!!

Here is my assumption. The franchise QB is a tea toting, holier than thou, pompous kook that looks for any reason to bash the team when they are playing poorly. Probably has his fair share of news sections comments and BCC posts to spread his inherent misery.

Amirite? You betcha.

So what's the discipline gonna be? I've already said that is should be a suspension, but then we can't field a Secondary. They need to come out and say what the punishment will be.

I agree, i want to see what Tom decides. To quote Tom, 'some guys may find their cheque a little light this week'.They will not let them play Sunday. Works for everyone!

I remember watching the Jerry Rice football life and he was talking about Deion and the SB week. It's Wednesday and Deions driving a Lamborghini to a club with some other players and Rice was fuming. The next day they have a players meeting, basically Rice v Sanders and Rice tells him were here to win a SB, we can celebrate when we win until then we work and focus and Deion was what's the problem? We're gonna win, were having fun, relax, it's all good.

It really struck me that at the core of it all, those are the two attitudes most players fall into one way or another. For one it's a relentless grind and goal, for others it's a fun life, playing a sport you love and getting paid millions to do it.

Both Rice and Sanders were exceptional players so you can't say one is right or wrong but when you consider Rice IS the greatest to ever play the game, his stats are just insane and no ones getting close even in this pass heavy era. He wanted to be the best ever and his drive was relentless in the extreme

I just don't see that mental toughness from this group yet, this is a bump in the road for a SB run but it look likes it has broken some of them.

That kinda makes me revisit my question for you guys this past offseason. Young team, success, hope you guys got the vets that will keep em grounded. Stories like this one (london nightclub) makes me wonder.
So many players with so much potential have burned out way too fast from thinking they better than they were.
