Careful, can imagine a few on the kessler bandwagon could hitch themselves to Tebow
Kessler is just playing along with the tank. We are blessed to have such a dedicated man. RIP NFL. We getting BOay JUICY
Kessler is just bad.  He can't make reads/go through progression quick enough.  I think the game is just too fast for him.

In his defense, he is playing behind perhaps the worst offensive line in the NFL and doesn't have the luxury of time, but he's still not good.  I would be surprised if he was still on the roster next season.
There will be an all-new quarterback room on the roster next year.

If we dont address the oline what will it matter.

we will have a rookiee from a terrible QB draft class and a cheap FA who probably is as good or worst then Blake. We will be wasting our championship defense yet again for another year.

If you say so.  After watching Kessler for a few weeks, I can't think of a worse QB tandem in the league.

I agree with most of your points, except one.

"We will be wasting our championship defense..."

We do not have a championship defense....  championship defenses do not collapse and do not give up MUST stops.

Our defense is statistically good,  but when the stops were needed the most,  they have had several let downs.

Thats not on the Defense as it is as much on the DC. Our bane has been mobile QBs and not once i mean not once has this idiot put a spy on a mobile QB and those Mobile QBs are what hurt our defense the most.

Yep... cuz when we play mobile QBs and we play man, they run on us.
And when we play zone, the RBs run on us or the DBs play off and give up dink and dunk plays.

Kinda like it has to do with Wash's scheme and when/how he calls plays.
Or somethin........

When the D holds teams to less than 20, we should win.
If you can't score 21 points on a regular basis, your offense is the only problem you need to worry about in today's NFL.

If that room has Haskins in it, I love it.

I do not think it is all the DC.  Some sure, but I think it is both the player and the DC,  but I lean more of a player issue.

The players did not buy in to the D this year like last year.

Don't know,  there were too many busts on defense this year to only blame the DC.

The issue with pass happy offenses are,  they eventually all get solved and it comes down to being able to run the ball and hammer the defensive players that are beaten up during the season and playing good sound defense.

This year the SB winner will still most likely come down to the best running team and/ or best defense.
Here is my evaluation....

Both are subpar and running for their lives. Kesseler throws spirals. Bortles throws ducks. Both get interceptions and fumbles. This is an absolutely historically bad offense. This is the culmination of at least 3 years of bad offensive planning, drafting and executing. Honestly Blake is fools gold in like 3 games a year. Kesseler is worse.

Lol just like the last 2 Super Bowls came down to the best running team or best defense?

And why we were made fun of for being conservative with our play calling in the AFCCG by the eventual superbowl champs.  The rams are loaded to bear on defense and they can't stop everything.  The league wants high score basketball on grass.  You get a power running game and they want to flag you for holding, blocks in the back and contact personal fouls (aka lowering the head).

It's unfortunately true.

Even if you want to hang your hat on a ground game and defense, you're going to have to go through a few opponents that have a very dynamic passing game. In some percentage of those contests, an elite defense will still give up points.

The only real contingency is to have the ability to keep up on the scoreboard. In 2019, that will mean having some semblance of a dynamic pass attack of your own. The Jags can't afford to sweep that issue under the rug as they navigate this coming offseason.

OC, OL, QB, TE and WR decisions will all be paramount.

HC and OC first then lets see what their philosophy is. Then O-line and WR are a priority. Ifn you have a great QB wont help if the O-line and receivers suck.

I don't think that Westbrook, Lee and Chark will be bad at all with an improved line and QB.
For me - WR is the lowest priority of those needs I listed. They just need one more guy with good hands.

HC is still very up in the air. I'd not be surprised at all if Marrone returns.

IF he returns we will be back to run run pass punt. Unless TC says you can stay hc but better get a more progressive OC. I just want them all gone HC DC

Have you watched the Rams offense lately?

They have been horrible.

They started to reel that bogus game in for no holding and blocking down field.

The Football gods are making up for the crap calls all year.
