He has terrible contact balance , bad vision, bad agility and is not good running from shotgun.

Terrible style fit for the Chiefs

Well damn, he wouldnt be good for any team then.  We damn sure wont get a pick

Just like the Fowler deal
And the people responsible for drafting him #4 overall keep their salaries and jobs, no questions asked. Yay accountability!

Wonder how, or if, this will affect re-signing Jalen. Seemed Jalen was pretty friendly with Fournette. He's probably not thrilled that the team voided Fournette's guaranteed money and then blasted him in the media for not being super engaged in the team, regardless of whether these actions were the best moves for the team. Doesn't exactly send the best message to the players.

He can be useful but you have to use him in specific ways and give him a fullback. Perfect to close out games and like you said better pass catcher than advertised. Just not a good fit with the chiefs.

I wouldn't give up much for him if I was another team but for a #4 overall pick with good production you'll still get picks. Punters and kickers have gone for 4ths and 5ths.
Amazing that we passed on Mahomes for this low character / overrated and overvalued specimen

Probably the Jets, considering they traded the #6 overall and three second round picks to move to three just last spring.

Leonard Threepointsevenette........what a major disappointment!
Makes sense now. That trade for Carlos Hyde was an insurance decision. It's a shame that we're already looking at the possibility of Fournette being traded. Which, again, how is it possible that nobody's head got chopped off yesterday from within the front office?

Marrone, Caldwell and Coughlin are all responsible for this. Yet Khan seems all ho-hum about the ordeal. Terrible decision making continues to seep through. Walking into 2019 with no franchise QB and possibly without your franchise RB that you drafted over a year ago over guys like Watson and Mahomes...

Wow...
Team is a dumpster fire. The NFLPA will get involved and more than likely the team wont be able to do this. A bad look.
Leonard Fournette could file grievance over contract

Leonard Fournette and the NFL Players Association will file a grievance if the Jaguars void the remaining contract guarantees in his rookie deal, Ian Rapoport reports.

You are wrong it is in the contract.....

It is more of a wakeup call

Haha that’s been clear for a long time

More ouch.  This will be very endearing to players and help us out going forward.  /sarcasm

I guess winning sure helped with this absolute poison in the locker room.  We really are contaminated from the front office down.  Amazing that the front office is standing pat.  I guess the money was good this year for the state of the franchise.
LF doesn't look like he is smart enough to file a grievance. It would need to be done on his behalf.
I have horrible visions of us trading him to a team like the Patriots for a 7th round draft pick and them figuring out a way to utilize his strengths and getting 2 or 3 great years out of him. Not to mention he'll now be motivated to prove he isnt a headcase / bust.

Seems likely but that is how we roll.

That is my exact problem. We all know he has talent. The men who can't seem to get it out of him are not going anywhere. It all doesn't make sense. How can simple fans see things more clearly than a billionaire owner and his son?
I honestly don’t even see any special talent in him. I really don’t.
I’m not saying he’s not an NFL RB, but there’s nothing special there.

He has nothing but hype and reputation. If I look at his two years here... he was ok in his first year but not great either. He is a high volume RB that gets his numbers because he touches the ball so many times.

He has shown me that he has poor vision which I think is the most important skill in a running back. He has shown me he can not make a DB miss in the open field, he would rather run right at them.

He’s got long speed but he isn’t quick. He has good, not great power. He’s nothing special and the sooner we realize that the better. Hopefully the coaches realize that basing your offense on a guy that isn’t that good to begin with is a bad idea. We have a similar player in Carlos Hyde. I would make them and another draft pick compets, if you decide to keep all of them.
can we season ticket holders file a grievance for his lackluster play?
