Quote:Lou Gehrig disagrees.

More recently, and in regards to football, Tom Brady took over for Bledsoe because of an injury.

And Drew Bledsoe hated being in pain, riding an ambulance, being put on IR, etc.  If you care about a player, you don't want him to get hurt.

But you can not deny that the injury to Bledsoe turned out to be VERY good for the Patriots organization.

Yes it did. I am not denying that. I just want to make sure you understand the injury itself is bad, even though something good came out of it.
Quote:Going by the way guys are talking on the radio. Oesher just says he would be surprised if the injury wasn't season ending and Boselli sounded the same way on the Drill this morning.

2 serious injuries in 4 years.  Glad we didn't give him a long term extension.

You would not say that about one of our best players if he had two serious injuries in four years.

But you would about one of our worst...

It's a show me something league

I hear you though, speedy, full recovery to Luke. He still has a future in the league. Big ugs don't grow on trees.

No I would not. The only reason to not want one of our worst players is he is one of our worst players.

What is an ug?

Quote:If the Joke truly is out, I'm guessing you'll see Reed named the starting LG with Omameh remaining their top backup.

Reed was out because Omameh can also play RT, but that doesn't necessarily mean they like Omameh over Reed at LG.

I don't understand. Reed has been noticeably subpar. Omameh run blocked his tail off yesterday. The line looked cohesive and imposed their will for the first time this season, though it was vs. twinkies. Readjusting it again by inserting Reed instead of building on yesterday with a solid fixture in all 5 spots seems backward, to me.

Furry winter boots that Florida girls wear when the temps drop below 90.

Omameh was a great run blocker. I was afraid we would never get or run game going this season but after Jockel went out, he opened big holes for Yeldon and Ivory.
Jaguars still have needs on oline,SS,Sam Lb if Posluszny isn't back in 2017 and I still think Running back. Not to mention coaching haha

I am not worried about Poz. He has been looking good this season.

Also, we already have a linebacker in waiting so that position has been filled.

I'm talking about if Posluszny isn't back in 2017. Jack moves to MLB but who then plays Sam or Otto linebacker? Skuta,Pullard or Arthur brown? No thanks

There is no reason to worry about 2017 in 2016.
Go away...

If any of our players missed 23 of 64 games (and just got hit with a severe injury) I absolutely would be glad that we didn't sign him to a long term extension.

The fact that any player would have re-occurring injuries, coupled with the fact that you never know whether their performance will ever be the same, is reason enough to steer away from players that have missed or are likely to miss over 36% of the games.  If Bortles or A-Rod were in the same predicament (missing 36% of their games and just suffering a severe injury), I'd damn sure be happy we didn't blow the salary cap on them.
Well, seems like we seen our last joke on the field.

Yeah. They're just on the sideline now.
