If a ligament is badly torn, the sideline tests are normally fairly accurate. They do the MRI to confirm but also look for additional injuries because those would change treatment.
I hope they don't find additional injuries. One ligament tear is bad enough.
Feel bad for him as a player and human. But I'm glad it just makes our decision to move on from him easier than it already was.
