Quote:Go away...

Obviously I would if I had any reason to.

You can't tell me to go away and have no reason to want that.

It is like I told you last week.  Don't just post to up your count.  You are throwing stuff out there like crazy and making emotional reasons as the basis of your post.

The NFL is gladiatorial and a rough business.  I feel bad for the player but it doesn't bother me when I think about the team.  He has leg problems which have been a continual issue for the guy.  I have bone on bone arthritis and spurs loaded up in my left knee from running around US Navy warships.  That is what happens when you have 10 pound boots and you are running on steel decks covered in non-slip.  Young persons game, they use you up and spit you out.
This will not end well, I fear.

I never post to up my post count. What makes you think I do?

Now get back to the topic before I risk getting a third warning in four weeks.

You should be warned.  You quote comments without reading and responding thoughtfully.  The stats and watching game after game have proven that Luke can't play for us above a middle of the road guy on the roster.  You respond by telling us how we are "wrong" because these are people we are talking about.  My response is that this is a tough business and you react to me calling your posts "emotional".  Re-read your posts before posting because they seem "spammy".

I am here to discuss the Jaguars, the NFL, and college football. Nothing else. If you don't like it, you don't have to read it.
Quote:I hope you don't think we will draft an OL that high.
Why not?

I wait until after the Super Bowl to think about draft prospects.

But we're not talking about draft prospects. We're talking about the philosophy of drafting an OL that high. You made a declaration that you hope we are not drafting OL that high. That is a draft strategy you hope we don't do, but when I ask why you don't want to execute that strategy you claim to want to wait until after the Super Bowl to talk about prospects.

All I care about now is Week 4 in the NFL and Week 5 in college football. One week at a time.

Then why didn't you say that 3 pages back and stop perpetuating a thread you have no interest in?

Then why did YOU mention drafting/not-drafting an O-Lineman in the 1st?

If you didn't care, you wouldn't have commented.  Just sayin.

This thread is about Joeckel, stay on topic.
Cut.

Quote:But you would about one of our worst...

It's a show me something league

I hear you though, speedy, full recovery to Luke. He still has a future in the league. Big ugs don't grow on trees.
She ignored me so I'll just add to what you said and say that we have been on marquise Lees butt the past three years as well. So technically it's not just about our worst players.
Quote:Furry winter boots that Florida girls wear when the temps drop below 90.
They wear them here in Texas too. They look stupid. Haha.
Quote:Going by the way guys are talking on the radio. Oesher just says he would be surprised if the injury wasn't season ending and Boselli sounded the same way on the Drill this morning.

Not very good news, but Omameh should be able to fill in nicely.
If he does miss the rest of the season, it would allow the Jags to bring him back next year for competition/depth on the cheap.  It's not like he has ever shown to be a top tackle/guard, and now he would also be coming off of a serious injury.  Luke won't be getting paid next year, even though he probably wasn't anyway.

I hope they re-sign him for modest guard money, and make heads explode similar to Alualu's re-signing.

Cleanup aisle 3

Quote:Time to move on from Luke anyways. We weren't going to re-sign him, so it's better to see if Omameh can prove to be the LG. If not, we'll draft a stud.

He was impressive yesterday and can't argue with the results. Seems one of those quiet and steady as she goes guys.

Quote:No I would not. The only reason to not want one of our worst players is he is one of our worst players.

What is an ug?

Big uglies are BIG linemen usually 300 lbs +

You can only hope BritJag.
