Ugh! Ta'amu sucks! We should've signed Sloter or Lauletta.

Thought I’d posted this- it would be a shame if we gleened a few details on the Texans offense and game plans...

All Jags long snappers must be named Matt, and all Jags placekickers must be named Josh!

What's the over and under on how many snaps before Brian Sexton gets the name wrong?

The following related tidbit caught my attention:

That's actually a decent signing. Litton played pretty well in the preseason. He's not as advanced as some of the other guys I would've been targeting. He needs a little work, but when I saw him play, I liked him a little better than McGough and Minshew. He successfully moved the ball and threw 3 TD's and 1 INT in the preseason.
Thanks for the info on Litton, the olinematters.
https://twitter.com/TomPelissero/status/...7737982976 (seems like he had a very good preseason in Seattle https://www.lockedonjaguars.com/jaguars/...n-calitro/)

Waived Giles-Harris to make room for him.
Calitro definitely looks like an upgrade at the back-up linebacker position. He got a lot of playing time last season for the Seahawks due to injuries they had at this position and appeared to do a solid job. He also played well on special teams. Apparently he was a victim of the "numbers game" since Seattle is very strong at this position. Their loss is our gain.

I believe the Jags have improved their depth with the additions of Calitro, Ozigbo and Ervin. All these guys seem to have decent upside and should eventually get a chance for some actual playing time.

So who actually deserves the credit for some of these roster moves. They've done a really solid job so far

Coughlin or Caldwell?

Caldwell and his staff do the work and TC signs off.

So if they are a bust its Caldwell, turn out good Coughlin. Smile

That's my strategy!

That seems to be the actual way many fans look at it unfortunately.

In reality, they should both shoulder blame and praise, but the proper proportions they are actually due will likely never be known outside of the front office.
They sink or swim together now. If the Foles decision goes south neither one better keep their job.
What LB position does Calitro play?
We can still develop Giles Harris on the practice squad as he looks to be a young talent with developmental potential.
I think that Ozigbo will challenge Armstead for the backup RB position.
I think DeValve increases the overall athleticism of the TE position and is the second best all around TE on the team.
