It’s a mistake to go with Minshew over Mcgough. Guy had 30 series and didn’t make it to the end zone once and got two FG attempts. All I kept hearing was how everyone around him was so bad and not him. I saw nothing positive to exclude him from the trash. If Lauletta gets released hopefully we go for him.

Wingard may have beaten Reavis out.
WIngard over Reavis? Hmm.
Cutting Jones is a huge mistake

They want to go with the younger and proven pass rusher in Taven....lol

I’ll be really surprised if Hayes clears waivers.
Didn't expect Josh Wells to get cut. Don't think any of the OTs that played for us this preseason were nearly as good as Wells was last year when Cam got hurt...before he got hurt himself.

I’m expecting some waiver wire claims and modest signings here soon.

What! Is this coaching staff so blind and dumb that they are gonna get rid of our ONLY decent backup OT? This is the stupidest move we've made since the Bortles extension! I know Wells was far from perfect, but Wester and Ogbuehi are dumpster fires. I pray to God that Robinson and Taylor stay healthy, because Wester and Ogbuehi will get Foles injured. This coaching staff is a bunch of buffoons!

It seems like the administration is letting the new OL coach make the OL personnel decisions. He was enamored with both Wester and Ogbuehi. I guess he considers himself a miracle worker. He wasn't around last year to see Wells outperform Cam.
So Bouye will most likely be a cap casualty next year and they cut a young, cheap, super productive DB Hayes. Our oline was destroyed with injuries last year and they cut the only decent depth OL Wells. Our 1st rd bust gets to stay and they cut Datone who was also super productive in preseason on DL and special teams... I'm so confused

At the very least, Josh Wells likely will be making one or more FA visits in the coming days.   The demand for NFL caliber backup Offensive Lineman with plenty of experience seems greater than the supply.

I think there's a very realistic chance the Lions will attempt to sign Wells either this coming week or after week # 1 when his base salary for the season wouldn't automatically be guaranteed.

I figured Reavis was a LOCK as the 3rd safety... this is dumb. Releasing Datone Jones is dumb, releasing Josh Wells who is our best option at swing tackle and only decent backup at the spot is REALLY DUMB. [BLEEP] is this Front Office.... and of course we'll do well enough this year for them to stick around.
Agree, cutting Jones is a mistake,
I have no idea what this front office is thinking. I stated my disgust at the Wells decision, but I honestly thought C.J. Reavis and Datone Jones had roster spots locked up as well. It's like the coaches looked at the very few backups who played well and cut them. It makes no sense!
Pretty cool that we cut this guy too...

13. CB TAE HAYES, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS — 80.7
Targeted 12 times so far this preseason, Hayes has allowed just seven receptions for 64 yards and has recorded an interception and three pass breakups. The undrafted free agent has allowed a passer rating of just 38.2 on throws into his coverage.
well, one thing about it ....the Khan has made it known he expects a winning season this year.
If this front office doesn't deliver....the whole bunch is gone.
