CLOSER, it should be today. I don't know why it hasnt happened yet.

Coming from a respected player like Marks...those words are definitely carrying some weight.

As much as our offense improved last season, I think it might have just been a one year wonder. I think Olsen might need to go as well. His play calling this year has been horrendous!
On point for this topic though, Mark's comments are definitely indicative of the locker room feel. There seems to be a rift between the offense and defense and I don't blame the defense one bit.

If Gus Bradley goes, almost all of the coaches will be gone as well. The new coach will want to bring in his people, and honestly... would you want it any other way? I mean there is Jerry Sullivan... but I'm not "married" to any of the other coaches.

We played "Del Rio Ball" to protect that 1 point lead. So hard to watch. Did we throw the ball downfield even once yesterday?

He should of lost it last year but those damn hot fudge sundae's are too good

They aren't going to fire Gus right before the logistical nightmare that is the London game. If it is going to happen it will be after the game Sunday. The next coach will then have a bye week to figure this out.

I just can't believe that all they cared about was getting a first down and eating clock with 6 minutes left in the game. I mean, that's a SB winning QB opposite us.

StroudCroud1 - Blake over through Lee by 5 yards on a deep route...would've been a TD.

last year the defense suck, offense good, this year defense looks good, offense sucks. Next year, offense good, defense good, plllllayyyyyyoooooofffffssss!!!!!

About time we've heard it. Gus should be gone today but I understand why waiting till after London, logistically.

How does changing the head coach affect logistics? Won't they still fly East?

The only logistics Gus needs to be concerned with is finding a new house.
09-26-2016, 12:58 PM
Tbh, I don't think Gus had the locker room since last season.

So... Sen'Derrick is frustrated with the loss, as he should be, and he voiced his opinion that the Jaguars got too conservative near the end. This much makes sense, but how we go from this to Gus losing the locker room? I don't get that at all.
Quite frankly, the fact that he's frustrated and wants to win suggests that things are just fine. I'd feel more like Gus might be losing the locker room if there was evidence that the players simply didn't care anymore.

I think Gus lasts the season, then is shown the door. Then he goes somewhere to be a good DC before some other team is dumb enough to give him a second shot.
I wish him luck in all of his endeavors (unless he goes to a divisional rival) but I look forward to the day where we can say "Our head Coach is not named Gus Bradley"

It just does a disservice to the interim to try to take over a team all while taking that long of a trip. I definitely wouldn't mind it, I just don't see it happening.
I also have a horrible feeling he'll last the year regardless.

After last week's loss to the Chargers, Skuta blurted out that Poz should not have been placed in a position to have to cover Travis Benjamin. Now we have this from Marks.
If he hasn't completely lost the locker room, it's possible his support is eroding.
I know it certainly has with the fans.

Gus is losing the locker room because a player voiced frustration over play calling by the OC? What? Yeah that makes sense.
