The DA isn't going to say that. There isn't clear video, but if the knife is black, it definitely points to it being in his left hand.
The DA isn't going to take the cops word for anything. Since the cops were the ones to say he had a knife, everyone else will say he didn't. The DA probably wants to advance so they will toe the line.
The DA is going to bury this until it dies down. There may be some charges to stop it for a while and then the charges will be dropped after people move on.

It is a pretty clear example, one guy put his hands up and surrendered. The other fought back with a knife and then tried to run to his car. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out why one was shot and the other wasn’t.

There's two sides to BLM, the civil rights side and the radical political side. Unfortunately it's difficult to distinguish between the two because they won't formally organize to present a unified position and face accountability. So now we have this nebulous entity which is attempting to achieve positive change but doesn't have the credible authority to categorically denounce those who perform heinous acts in their name.
If BLM won't make the attempt to officially organize and codify their position, they can't be accepted as legitimate.

Because of the violent actions by the radicals that have taken over, I now view Nazis, far right groups and BLM
all as terrorists groups. They are now essentially the same, but with different goals.

I didn't know we had an anti fascist murder category. Maybe the right should make its own organization that monitors that. They could call it the northern wealthy criminal center and just link any murder that can be possibly connected to the left as an anti fascist murder. While they are at it, they should classify any upstart or controversial leftist a degenerate. Wonder what the statistic would look like then.
