We're definitely in the running for the 1st overall pick. Can't think of any team in the NFL worse than the Jags right now.

Jets

Yep, but only them

As bad as we are, the Jets are putrid!
Jets and Giants both look rubbish

Jets would beat the Jags, as they at least can play some defense
Jets are easily worse than us and the Giants with all their injuries.
Yeah we will be picking in the top 5
Looking at the Jets schedule I cant see them winning a game this year. One of the Dolphins games is by far their best bet
We will more than likely be in the top 10 again with an outside chance of picking in the top 5.

I bet they wish they were playing us.
Sadly we never get the first overall pick. I dont see that changing this year. Honestly 2021 is looking like poor potential for success. The coaching sucks and one more draft is giving the Front Office and Coaches more that they deserve.
One of the two NY teams will get the first pick. They are both shockingly bad.

Yikes. Did you finally take the teal glasses off and are seeing this team for what it truly is?
You guys know in true #becausejaguars fashion, Houston is getting the #1 pick.

LOL. They will curb stomp the Jags twice this season as they have a real QB.
AJ McCarron?

I don't think so. Knowing our luck, we'll be in the running for the #1 pick all the way up to the final week of the season. We'll then pull out a meaningless victory in the final game and we'll either have to give up almost all of our draft picks to trade up for Lawrence or we'll overdraft some QB like Trey Lance or Justin Fields, who turn out to be busts. This is almost a given.

Houston traded away their 1st and 2nd round picks.  So even if they finished last overall, they ain't getting nothing.
Watson, Mahomes, Wilson, Dak, Jackson, Rodgers, and plenty of other QBs have turned out really good or elite not being first overall. You guys need to stop with the "Trevor or we suck for 10 years" talk. Burrow came out of nowhere really. If you must look toward the draft and who our next QB will be, at least do it without crying about us not being the worst to get Sunshine.
BTW, no "lock" that Jets or Giants give up on their QB either. And if we don't win much more, we certainly could be picking top 3 and well within reach of getting whatever QB we want, especially with extra picks to trade.
