We still have a great shot at losing out the rest of our games this year. Its between us and the Jets who can suck the best. Jets fan tonight!

Jets pulling off the upset baby!!

We gonna be tied for last considering wins.... man, I'm really not interested in being a 'losing' hopeful fan but this year is different for some reason.

Tank for Fields!
I think the Jets are trying to lose this game..

12 men on a 4th and 5.
A deep throw for no reason by Flacco which gets intercepted.
Another penalty on 3rd down...

That maybe so... but, New England cannot execute. This is why Cam Newton was a free agent.

And just like that the Jets are 0-9

Jeez even when we have a horrible team we don't see a reward
That was a TERRIBLE 4th quarter by Flacco
It was fun until the 4th quarter when the blatant tanking started.

The way this QB class appears to be shaping up, I’d rather they trade the #2 pick than take Sewell if they decide to pass on Fields. I don’t think Jones, Wilson or Trask will be there when our 2nd first rounder comes around. We can probably trade down to 7-10 and still get one of those three and some extra draft capital.

Remember, we have 2 first round picks. We don't have to use the #2 overall pick on an overrated QB like Fields. We can use our first rounder from the Rams to get one. Right now, that would be somewhere around pick #22 overall.

I just don’t think Jones, Wilson or Trask will still be there at #22.
Without getting Lawrence a dream draft for me would be Sewell, and Pitts with our first 2 picks and then trade back into the 1st for Trask. Our offense would be built. Then I'd go defense if the value is there with the rest of our picks

It would be great if this happens, but I see Trask going in the top 15.

Maybe, still a lot of football left for all these guys. People love what Fields is doing against these trash defenses.  Tua's little brother looked just as good as him against Pen State.  When Fields played Clemson last year he was 30 for 46 1 TD and 2 Ints and there D wasn't all that great last year.  Ready to see what these guys can do in the playoffs.  If Trask keeps playing like he has been and leads Florida to a Championship he will go in the top 5 and probably go number 2 after Lawrence

Trade up...

Sewell at 2. Trade #20(ish) and a 3rd(?) to go up to 13-15 range and get "your" guy.

There's still a lot of college season left, not to mention all the pre draft stuff... Wonder how many QB needy teams will be in the top 15?
Jets, Jags, Pats, Denver maybe, Atlanta perhaps, Giants maybe (I think they stick with Jones)...
Based on the draft order right now... I think only 2 QBs will be taken in the top 10 for sure, if we don't draft one at 2. Jets and Skins. Carolina and ATL are possibilities at 9 and 10, but no sure thing. Then there's Detroit and Minnesota. I don't think Stafford is the problem in Detroit and I think Minny is stuck with Cousins' contract for one more season iirc. New England and Denver are next at 13 and 14, so I think if there's a particular guy they want at that point, you gotta trade up with Detroit or Minny.

Chances are though... if it's a new regime... if they deem QB a need (they should) and if they have any of the QBs rated high enough, they'll take one at 2. Whichever one they have on their board. Whether it is Fields or Trask or Jones or Wilson.... who knows.

Guess it is very dependent on who is working the office and staff come that time. What their tastes in offensive philosophy are and what have you.
Lets just hope the Jets accidentally win one or two. They do still get NE again and you never know which Baker will show up for their game against the Browns

Spoken like a true homer.

What amazes me is how people continue to keep thinking that SEC defenses are worlds better than the rest of college football when that hasn't been true for probably over a decade.

I hate trading up. I'd rather trade down. I don't see any players in the next draft that I would trade up for. I'd rather use all of our current draft picks to fill the many, many needs we have.

How does that address the God awful defense we have? Our top 3 picks all on offense?
