Smoot is resigned. Expected this if we really are switching to a 3-4.

I'm not crazy. Who the [BLEEP] do you think Jacksonville is just gonna grab up? This team has been garbage in a garbage damn city for yrs.

Team is young. Got some studs. City is trash...not a destination

Loving the meltdown and glad the Jags aren’t going all in right now. We were 1-15 last year and aren’t winning the Super Bowl in 21. If you want to blow money just to quickly upgrade but not have the long term in mind, that’s not getting us where we all hope to go. The goal is the Super Bowl, spend when you’re closer to that goal (hopefully a year or two).

Although ultimately I agree, this year is different. They need to protect Trevor and give him weapons. 

Do whatever it takes to help the young QB.

Trent, Fuller, Samuel, Reiff, Henry, Everett, Lawson are all still available so there’s that.

Maybe we’re saving our money to pay for Lawrence’s second contract all upfront...

Nope other way. Smoot is the big end. With the DT signing we're definitely staying in the 4 3.

Looks like he agreed to a deal. I'd like to be positive about this pick due to his speed, but he couldn't beat out Donte Moncrief in Indy. That does not bode well for his future with the Jaguars. I have no idea why they signed Hyde. He was a big disappointment during his first tenure in Jax. The Jaguars need a speedy back who can catch the ball out of the backfield. Hyde may not even make the team.

Of the guys left what would the Jags have to sign in order for you to personally think it was a successful FA period? I think Trent Williams should be disqualified since we would all list him but it's almost guaranteed a pipe dream.

For me it has to be Lawson, one of Henry or Everett (actually prefer Everett), and Golladay or Samuel (hopefully Samuel). Pretty much have to get 3 of those for FA to be salvaged for me.

Harris at S or Jackson or Hilton at CB would be nice but I'd need a lot more than just them to be happy.
