Keep it Matriculating front office. You're doing Very Well.
NH3...
It's clear that the team is adding DL talent. Taven and Abry should probably call someone to put their houses on the market.
Always kinda liked Abry Jones. Serviceable player.
Think about trying to run on a front of
Brown-Alu-Hamilton
Top 5 run D easily

Not really, you need to be able to be a beast in the run game and draw double teams if you're a NT, eat space, something he can't do
Have we given any thought to signing a vet QB? I'd love to have someone who can mentor T-Law.
And there goes Tyrod Taylor to the Texans.

Our run defense the past two years has proven otherwise, unfortunately.
He is in decline.
Front office has redeemed itself in the last hour. These look like good deals that won't hurt the team salary-cap wise. Would have loved to have picked up a quality safety and TE, but you can't have everything

I don't know about top-5 but Alu actually had a pretty good year last year and if he can play like that for a couple more, that translates to a pretty decent front 3.
PS: I have a signed Alualu jersey from his previous stint. Who coulda guessed that I'd be able to break that out again. ;-)

Nice
I'm glad to see Marvin Jones get the opportunity to being coached by Darrell Bevell again and to be on the receiving side of some of Trevor Lawrence's passes. .Jones should be a great help in the development of Lawrence. Jones matured greatly during his 5 seasons with the Lions. He will do what it takes to play to the best of his ability, including in the off-season.
Two things in particular Marvin Jones does very well as a WR on the field is his timing on deep balls and catching sideline receptions. Two late season ultra bogus Officiating calls robbed Jones of another TD vs. the Vikings and a spectacular red zone sideline reception vs. the Packers two weeks earlier.

Taven w/o a doubt and there may not be room for Abry.
Time Will Tell.

Was Taven at UF when Urban was there? That might prevent him from being cut.

When he first came on the scene, he played surprisingingly well. But then his play fell off, and he became a liability against the run (the Jets game from 2017 leaps to mind).

We still have crappy OT's, no pass catching TE, bad/average Safeties and zero depth at both LB positions. We have average CB's now, but our top three guys are coming back from injury. That doesn't bode well. Our run defense should be better though.

Yes.
