This year the cap is really tight. He may not have gotten a better offer this year.

IMHO, RRH is a very underrated player. Granted, he didn't come cheap. But he has been an explosive interior pass rusher. RRH missed the 2nd half of the 2020 season. That was a major reason why the Bears Defense was far less effective than it was in the 1st half of the season and in recent prior seasons.
Bears fans seem upset by the move.
