What if he does turn out to be a Alvin Kamara? I like the pick. I like James Robinson a lot he does a lot of good things nothing great. We have 2/3 more very good picks coming up. Our rub depth just multiplied by 100%. With 2 capable starting rbs.

In some fairness. there is no certainty that J. Robinson will repeat what he did last season. So just saying you have a good RB doesn't mean you cannot use another.
Still doesn't justify picking RB this early.

Gene Smith never took the best player at any position. Travis Etienne is considered by many to be the best RB in the draft.
Some of you seem to think this is a bad pick - however, keep in mind that the top teams have more than one really good RB. After James Robinson, we had NOTHING. That ain’t gonna cut it in this league and you guys know it.
Now, as much as I really like Rondale Moore, he would’ve been the wrong pick here because Jacksonville has WRs for days. You guys will likely get what you want at #33.

I like the player a lot. Unfortunately the value of that position and the fact that we absolutely do not need this position makes this a dumb as [BLEEP] pick.
However, I don’t think he will be a bust and I do think he will be fun to watch over the next several years.
