If this was the offensive gameplan, why did they take a RB in the first round? Or was ETN so important to Meyer's gameplan that this team doesn't have any plan without ETN?

First Etienne and then Austin(I think he was the intended replacement). It sure looks like this is an important part of the puzzle that was completely missing today.

JRob or Hyde is the starting RB.
CFL this is not guys, false start!

The backs should've had 40 carries in this game, that they don't is an indictment of the coaching.
Jaguars broke CBS score ticker!!!
Yay…touchdown yippee
40 TDs

Losing the 3rd down back is no reason for the running backs to not get carries.
This has been a strange game

The irony of that is our biggest need and your username.

Yea but Thibodeaux's potential is through the roof. Dude is a freak and we can't pass on him if we're in a position to take him.
Silver linings..... Jags outscored and gave up less points than tennessee...... Lol.

It looks like playcalling got completely messed up after the mistakes and holding calls in the beginning. I don't like it.
Welp, I'm off to the Tavern to do something the defense can't do...... Get Blitzed... Until Next week... Adios Amigos
Breaking: Jacksonville Jaguars walking home charted jet does not want the stink!

How many total offensive snaps today? Looks like he passed on >85% of them.

A lot of dropped passes. Momentum was killed. Then the defense lost confidence.

No disagreement from me. I tend to stay away from the board during the off-season because I'm generally a cynical pessimist and don't want to drag everyone down during the only time of the year when there's unmitigated hope, so I wasn't really around complaining about the ETN pick, even though I disagreed with taking a RB so high. Now that we've, apparently, seen UM's offensive gameplan, which doesn't include using the RB, I'm even more confused now about their taking a RB so high than I was at the time of the draft. Just looking for some help understanding the move, if anyone can provide it.

Yep, and only 4 weeks to go before Henry puts up another 200y + game on us.
