Watched this game in Austin. Tinhorn fans were nice; just laughed at the ineptitude of every phase of Meyer’s team.
The brisket was remarkable.

The irony of that is our biggest need and your username.

I hate to tell you, but there isn't an OT in this draft class worth spending a first rounder on.

Yep, and only 4 weeks to go before Henry puts up another 200y + game on us.

I don't even want to think about it.

Good brisket makes it all worthwhile.

Yea but Thibodeaux's potential is through the roof. Dude is a freak and we can't pass on him if we're in a position to take him.

Not to mention that this OT class for 2022 sucks. Other than Evan Neal (and I'm done with Alabama OT's,) this may be the worst OT class I've seen in at least 5 years.

No disagreement from me. I tend to stay away from the board during the off-season because I'm generally a cynical pessimist and don't want to drag everyone down during the only time of the year when there's unmitigated hope, so I wasn't really around complaining about the ETN pick, even though I disagreed with taking a RB so high. Now that we've, apparently, seen UM's offensive gameplan, which doesn't include using the RB, I'm even more confused now about their taking a RB so high than I was at the time of the draft. Just looking for some help understanding the move, if anyone can provide it.
No one understands this franchise and their poor decisions. Game plan looks work with the lack of execution but it seemed like a trash plan anyway.

And man Urban doesn't seem to like Robinson.

Just the fact that Meyer allowed his rookie QB to attempt 51 passes in his first NFL game is inexcusable.

Isn't that weird? I sure would like to know the dynamics behind that.

What, at 7 - 34 you want to run the ball?

Guy is a crazy hard worker. I don't get it. Hyde played better than I expected but jeez

At 0-14 they certainly could have run it a lot more than they did

Did you expect to win by throwing it at that point?
I would have run it for the practice reps at that point.

Do we have run plays? Bubble screens count right? I am not sure about the setup we have.

Edit:
I mean short passing game in place of runs.

Especially since Lawrence and the receivers could get it going with longer throws.
Guys, this was just a disappointing effort on every front. The thing is, we’ve all waited so long to see some sort of change, and this looks like a step backward more than anything.

I am leaning on a continuation of the misery. It will be bad until it changes. Didn't think we had a good team, I just wanted to see anything that hints on good times coming.

Reality is a hard wall.  We ran into it today.
Sixteen game losing streak intact.
We will improve every game. Just watch.
