Question in the event Tua is name the starter this week: Given the fact that Tua's longest career completion in the NFL is 36 yards and his yards per attempt is 6.3 yards, does Wingard still play 25 yards off of the line of scrimmage (which would essentially mean that Miami is playing 11 on 10 (players)

He actually has the best idea for stopping Henry who has humiliated numerous tacklers who’ve tried to take him high. Considering their size and strength differences, I would go for the feet too, but his execution is terrible. The ol’ slide and swipe just doesn’t cut it.

He'll be playing 37 yards off the LoS and we'll get carved up in the middle of the field for consistent 15-20 yard plays.

The issue is the guy is playing so far off that HE can't physically cover ground fast enough to make a regular play or be in position to create a game-changing turnover.

He has to be in the best shape of anyone on the team with all that running.

At the least move him to SS.

He has the 2nd most missed tackles in the league, so don't really want that in the box. 

Just replace him with the superior athlete in Cisco already

This defense is lacking playmakers. Cisco was one of the best secondary playmakers in college. Wingard is like a “bend don’t break guy” that misses tackles.

Yeah we are 0-5. Time to elt the took get some playing time even if he takes some lumps at first. Its clear that wingard should not be in our future plans. Time to see if Andre is.

He made some disappointing “business decisions” in the second half of the Titans game against Derrick Henry. You can’t win with players like that.

Since Winguard keeps grading out higher than Jenkins, makes you wonder who Cisco will replace....

Yeah, man, just look at how they are using Wingard. It's laughable. 

Unless he's assigned the box he's so far off the ball he can't affect a conversion at all. All he can do is play cleanup duty or try to stop the HR ball. 
With a better athlete in at FS (like the guy they drafted this year) they won't have to play him 35 yds off the ball and he may actually help stop some of those crossing routes and seam passes to TEs we are getting killed by every week.

How do you grade a guy who's clearly assigned to pedal deep and just prevent the TD half the time he's out there?  
Well, if they don't score a TD he gets an "A" for doing his job right?

If I heard Urbz correctly on the radio, I believe he said they gave Wingard a co-defensive player of the game designation for his play in London.

I seem to recall a couple of good plays from him in run support. Anyone remember a play in coverage?

Yes he did call him that He is suppose to drop that deep. Wingard haters Urbs call him one of the defense mvps
