If the jags turn things around and get back to winning, they very well might get the chance to see each other again..... as bad as the game went, 5 turnovers and the inability to stop the run or get the defense off the field, they only lost by 1 score. Can't say that's how things would have gone in years past. They got derailed, but they didn't stop competing and just give up. They've still got control of the division, and all they've got to do is win. Start with the texans next weekend.

Next 7 games..

Home vs texans
@ colts
Home vs Giants
vs Broncos in England
Home vs Raiders
@ Chiefs
Home vs Ravens

Safe to say that none of the next 5 games are all that scary of an opponent. Imagine being 7-2 going into a match up against the Chiefs

I said it but I am sticking with it. Today's loss should really piss this team off. It really should. They HAD it. They HAD it early. Just make that pass connection early and go up 21 - 0 and it's a completely different ball game.

I don't think these next five opponents are scary. I don't think they're that good. I don't think our defense gets beat up again for weeks like they did today. I also don't think Lawrence plays this sloppy again all year.

Fully expect adjustments and new formations introduced in the weeks to come. I expect them to put 30 or more on the tinhorns this Sunday at home.

I agree... I do think weather played a huge factor today even though that's not an excuse... But if it wasn't raining we win this game hands down
The Texans game is the biggest game of the season. We need to have short memories and move on to this game ASAP. A win here, with the team as 3-2, would be gigantic. Every game is tough and matters in the NFL, but divisional games are most important.

These next two games are far more important than this Eagles' game. One being that the Eagles play in the NFC, but especially because our next two games are vs Division opponents. Gotta win your Division games.
Yes, these next 2 games are the most important ones yet. Division games and home games we need to win
Division games matter the most.

Gonna move on already and look to beat a division team that have beat us in 8 straight games

Cheers. Agreed 100%

Let's get this texans game and get back on track jags!

It'll be interesting to see how we adjust especially if we play a team with a dual-threat QB, because the RPO annihilated us on defense today.

But Davis Mills is definitely not Jalen Hurts. We need to key in on their rushing game first and foremost.
You're going to have to start being aggressive and run blitzing gaps to cut that [BLEEP] out.

This means the secondary has to come up and play more man and less zone. I don't mind it.

I think the run worked today because they had to respect Hurts. You only have to respect four players in the NFL in the RPO and he's one of them.

Mahomes, Jackson and Allen are the other three. I think they'll go back to what they did against Taylor in the home opener and they'll be right back in business defensively.

It's the offense that concerns me. Lawrence had an awful game today. You just cannot turn the ball over in games like this. You especially cannot turn it over in a one score game like he did with the interception.

Pederson, again, his play calling is something you love or hate. You love it when you're winning and you hate it when he's being a stubborn former QB with a gunslinger and all guts and glory mentality holding the clipboard.

Eight carries for Robinson. Eight carries for Etienne. One target for Engram. One target for Arnold. What is a young QB's best friend on the road in a close game when he's turned it over a few times?

Oh... that's right. It's typically a running game and tight end working in a phone booth in between the hashes. He just seems to be deadset on giving the revolver to Lawrence every single game to shoot themselves out of a hole and it's frustrating when it's clearly not working.

All's well. Still a decent team that got humbled today. They can still get on a good streak. Especially in this division. If they lose to the tinhorns for the 9th time in a row though?

We're going to see a fanbase get very.... lethargic.

I'd probably add Murray and Watson to the list of QBs that can do damage with RPOs. Maybe Russ too.
If we are sitting 3-2 at this time next week, I’m going to be feeling really good.

We need to because the Titans next 3 games are against the Commies, Clots and Texans. Lose any/all of the next 3 vs the Texans, Clots and GMen, and we are looking up at them. And don't underrate the Giants.
Jags have to beat the Texans next week in cause if they lose to 0-3-1 Texans  2 things  are happing all over.  Another downward sprial is happening, and they will be the same ol jags loseing to winless teams. if they win though it will be a good sign.
How do you beat RPO? Blitz the fire out of em. Send the CB, send both LB, send SS and 1 LB. The Texans will probably run the same game plan Philly just beat us with. Our defense was trying to react on what the offense was running instead of attacking and being aggressive.

Yeah it’s a must win game in my book. I don’t care if anybody disagrees. Must win for me.

The Texans would be idiots to do that. Their QB is not an RPO passer
Time to do our talking on the field. Lets make a statement at home against Houston and get our swagger back. The Texans are not a good team. We need this one.
Even the 2017 team didn’t just win every week. It’s the nfl. Let’s win this one and get back on track!
The next 3 games are against run first teams. We have to start stacking the box and stop the run. The number 1 priority. We will be going against 3 really good RBs
The Texans strength is their run game and secondary. It will be interesting to see if Doug tries to pass the ball alot. They don't have much at DT or LB. They have a really good young secondary so I hope Doug don't have the same game plan he did against the Eagles and on D we need to stop the run and make them force Mills to beat us
