I think we win but I think this game is going to be a lot close than most think. Division games with them have been tough

This game SHOULD look like the two in 2017
The Texans have not won and game so they will be desperate and will give a great effort. They're stocked with NFL talent just like we are. So this won't necessarily be easy, and we won't necessarily win. This game will tell a lot about what kind of team we have, and what kind of year we're going to have. It's a really important game.
If this team loses to the tinhorns this Sunday in miserable fashion it will have the media second guessing not only the players but the coaching staff.

Hopefully they come out the gates swinging heavy and swinging early. Would like to see them be up 24 to 0 before half time but ill take 17 to 3 as well.

I doubt they lose in miserable fashion but I don't even want to lose by 1 point.  Although they have beat us 8 straight

I just want them to silence the doubters. At least for one more week.

We have the best team since 17 though so we should win all our home games. We need to win home games and division games

I hope so
Top teams beat the teams they are favored to beat. We'll see over the next 4 weeks if we are a top team.
Texans are 18th in pass D

Texans are 31st against the run

I hope Doug takes advantage of the weak run D as the have no LBs or DTs to really scare anyone. They do though have some really good young pieces in that secondary so I hope Doug tries to run it down their throat to set up the PA
For some reason I was thinking Trev's Bday was Sunday, but its actually tomorrow. Happy Bday, hopefully he can celebrate Sunday though with a win.
I could see us coming out flat. I hope we don't make any big mistakes,.. beating ourselves is the only way this team loses to Houston. They are not good and we should be righting the ship and getting some momentum back under us. Division game, no excuses.
Jags should be able to control this one if they run at the ball 30 times and keep the pressure on Mills.

I hope they run a lot but I dunno. Pederson is a pass first coach.

Hope they come out of the gate swinging...get a good lead and never take their foot off the gas... This is not a game we should get cute and or slow down when we have the lead
if it rains, we are screwed.
This is a get right game if we're a good team at all.
Run the ball and stop the run

Agreed. They have the worst run defense in the AFC. Second to only Chicago at the moment in the NFL. I would line the damn football up and run it until they can prove that they're capable of stopping it.

I swear to God, man, if Doug comes out in that spread formation [BLEEP] and they go three and out? Somebody needs to hijack the play calling from him. He's a great coach, makes great adjustments, but, I feel like this team gets off to a slow start and I really feel like a lot of that boils down to overthinking it.

At least script the first drive to be run, pass, run. If the first run is a 1st down? Go play action, bootleg, roll out left to Arnold or Engram. Those plays are there for the taking when they get the run game going.

You have two competent and explosive runningbacks just itching to take over this offense. So let them do it and let Lawrence start operating what he's best at which is moving around, getting out of the pocket and making plays on the run with his arm.
