Gonna move on already and look to beat a division team that have beat us in 8 straight games

They were better. That's ok.

A lot of that team, outside of Hurts, was established, firmly rooted on the roster and their expectation is to be where they are now, competitive for postseason play. They were exactly who we thought they were.

I'm eager to see how they respond. In prior seasons, the team would wilt in the face of discouragement. I don't anticipate our coaches or players throwing in any towel.

Let's demolish the tinhorns and get this thing rollin again!

Whos we?  Lol. .They were better yesterday but I don't think they have a better team.  We had 5 turnovers, a lot because of the wet ball, in Philly, and they beat us by 1 score.    If we play them in good weather I think we win.  We have lost the last 8 games to the Texans and all of their games have been pretty close.  We don't have to demolish the team that have beat us 8 straight.  Just get a win and break the streak and we will be 3-2 looking on to another very important division game.

The Texans will probably run the same game plan Philly just beat us with. Our defense was trying to react on what the offense was running instead of attacking and being aggressive.

Yeah it’s a must win game in my book. I don’t care if anybody disagrees. Must win for me.

Davis Mills ain’t running no RPO like Hurts.
Jags are 7.5 point favorites. Wow.

When is the last time they were favored this heavily?

Agree, gotta stop Pierce, he is a good looking rookie RB so far.
The Texans have always scared me. They seem to have our number like we have the Colts number. Years we should beat them they somehow whack us. I hope we can exercise that demon this year.
They have the worst ranked pass defense at the moment. With Zay Jones back this weekend I think they'll be fine. Should honestly expect a win by double digit points.

We need to because the Titans next 3 games are against the Commies, Clots and Texans. Lose any/all of the next 3 vs the Texans, Clots and GMen, and we are looking up at them. And don't underrate the Giants.
Giants are up and down. I agree though. I like Daboll as their coach. I just think our team is better than these next five teams on their schedule and it needs to reflect accordingly.

2017 is actually extremely similar to what we've seen this year so far.

It started 2-2 the same way, we had two insane wins 44 - 7 win vs Ravens, and 29-7 win vs Texans, we also got handled vs titans at home 37-16 and barely beat by the jets 23-20 (this was the game where Bilal Powell fell down then got up and ran in for a long td while our entire D thought he was down already. Fun fact also, that Ravens game Joe Flacco was the starter and was 8/18 for 28 yards 0 tds, 2 ints. Ryan Mallet came in to relieve Flacco late in the game and only had 38 yards. Insane defensive performance.

That game was more about Blake Bortles losing the game for us than it was Gabbert winning it for them. If I recall right, Blake kept giving them the ball back.

regardless of weather I'd give them slight advantages over us. If you don't want to count yourself among the vast majority of fans, viewers, and such, so be it. I'd venture that most would give the iggles the edge over our team. As we saw last week though, that's no guarantee of a win....just ask the bolts or chiefs.

It is. This is that game where they either completely lay an egg, lay them out or barely win.

I am hoping they lay them out. Good teams can lose against great teams and bad teams can win against good teams.

Great teams don't do that though. They lay out bad teams. If they barely win, I'll be happy. If they lay an egg? My optimism for the year is gone.

But, man, if they lay them out? The expectations continue to rise and I'll expect them to be great every week.

Feels good to say that as a fan. I just hope this team is turning that corner for good. Would be great to see another string of 1990's play off run's around here.

I remember those days faintly as a kid. They were good though.

Oh here we go again.....

All the games are trap games leading up to the Jags-Chiefs matchup on Nov 13 which is likely a prelim to the AFC Championship Game.

With that point favorites I really really hope they don't take it lightly and underestimate them.... Divisional games can be tough no matter what the record is....

That Kansas City game scares me... what they did to Tampa yesterday was unbelievable.... But then again if the colts beat them... then we can too.... Our defense is going to have to play lights out

They have beat us 8 straight times and all of their games have been close. To take a divisional team lightly and underestimate a team that has beat you 8 straight would be one of the dumbest things in recent memory lol

We need Fatukasi back. He has been a huge reason why we had the number 1 run D. Without him Pierce might just have a day. We also need to run the ball more than we pass
