Wilson in line to start!
Wilson is very mistake prone. I think if Etienne can take care of the ball and we just run it (these Thursday night games are generally very boring), we will be gifted the game. Just don't make the dumb play.
James Robinson tearing it up in New York.  29 carries for 85 yards and designated INACTIVE (coach's decision) for 3 of the past 4 weeks.

He pretty much went from someone that was fighting for a #1 roster spot (and a long term contract) to someone that may simply be fighting for a roster spot next season.  I'd like to see the Jags resign him but he may not fit into the speedy, open offensive scheme of that Jags, that seems to be working very well at this time.

We most definitley want him starting over mike white on Thursday. But their defense is great. Championship caliber defense and I think is going to be the biggest test the jags offense had all year. Franklin-myers left the lions game on Sunday and he's their best best edge guy and has been great this year. Quentin Williams also missed the lions game with an injury and he's been playing at an all pro level. If both of them miss this week it would be huge for us. Their secondary has been great. Sauce is lockdown and d.j. Reed has been an under the radar guy who is playing like a pro bowler. Also Michael Carter has been one of the best slot corners in the league. Gonna be hard to score a lot against them so our defense is gonna have to step up.

Are you going to the game?

Myself my brother and a few of our friends are planning to go but we are keeping an eye on the weather report. As of now it's a 90% chance of rain the entire night and around 40 degrees. None of us want to sit through thay but if it changes we are all going to be there.
This is a winnable game on paper and that is what scares me…
Don't sleep on this game. The Jets could prove to be difficult. Zach Wilson needs to be rattled early so he doesn't get too comfortable. Do that and this game outlook is looking positive.

Bold prediction: Agnew returns a kick/punt for a TD in this match.

Yeah the weather looks like it's gonna be awful so we are definitely going to need our running game.

I don't think that forecast will change. I didn't want to sit through it, but I don't think I have a choice now.

Would definitely prefer snow, but don't think it will be that lucky.
This is a tough game. They are fighting for a playoff spot too and at home
Definitely a tough game. Jets -1 as of now.
Have to win the tough ones now since we lost games like the one in London, to the Broncos. Let too many slip away.

It could even end up being a snow game.  There is currently a front of cold, below zero weather going through the Midwest.  It is 6 degrees above zero in Minnesota right now.  I'm not sure if it will get to New York by Thursday, but it's possible.  Our guys better bundle up and be prepared to hold onto the football.

This could be concerning.  Unless I'm mistaken, the coldest weather we have played in so far this year has been Tennessee?  Thankfully, this should be the only cold weather game left on the regular season schedule.

He's an asset for them this week as a spy.
Cam out for the season

That defense is a huge concern for me, arguably more than Dallas' was going into yesterday's game.

We can't afford to turn the ball over on Thursday.  We've got to be patient.

even if the other option is a washed up Flacco?

And for the love of god, will someone make ETN watch the movie "The Program" and make him learn how to love/respect that dog gone football he's given.

or highlights of the greatest show on turf.

They were notorious for getting the easy yards, then get down. no turnovers, keep the pace moving, you'll get those yards as the D tires.

gotta wonder if they even mention him or the trade in the broadcast. I expected him at least to contribute somewhat once he got there.

So long as the JEST didn't re-hire Sal Alosi, you may have something here.
Any given Sunday. Every game is winnable and every game is losable. The Jets have a top 3 defense in the league. But so did Dallas. But we lost to the Texans. Any Sunday.

Just win baby.
This game is more important than the Dallas game.

About a week ago, I was confident Dallas could take care of Tennessee and enable us to catch the Tacks by week 18.

But given that we beat Dallas, the dynamic may have changed considerably.

Having lost to us, thereby losing a game to the Eagles, there is almost no chance for them to catch the Eagles and win their division, even if they beat Philly this weekend. Furthermore, they are far enough ahead of the bottom two wild card teams they likely can't/won't be caught. Being pretty much locked into the 5th seed, there arguably isn't much outward incentive for which to play. They could end up using those last two weeks to get healthy for the playoffs. If so, Tennessee's chances of winning that game improves.

To avoid all of that, we've got to win on Thursday.

I could be wrong but I don’t think the Eagles have clinched the NFC East.

They likely won’t have Hurts for the regular season. If Cowboys win out, they might win the East.
