ETN better I'd been practising his ball security

Been a issue
Can't afford to have Fatukaski out
Confirmed Zach Wilson is starting with Mike White out again. Just need Q Williams to be confirmed out as well.
It's good that Walker is up to limited practice instead of DNP
All white unis on Thursday
Looks like Zack Wilson is getting the start. The Jags biggest concern is ball security. I believe we are good enough to beat them. We just can't beat ourselves.

Yes, I went there. Sue me!

Agreed. They should be simulating rain with sprinklers or something and practice ball control.

pray for a blizzard and Wilson to have Testaverde's eyes!
It's been wet and windy all week here. Should be used to it for tomorrow night's game. Still awaiting an update on Quinnen Williams though. He's the main concern now. If he's out tomorrow I feel like our probability of winning goes up astronomically.
I’m worried about this game
I think Quinnen Williams plays. He was only LP the past 2 days. Last week he was DNP all week.
Gonna keep predicting that we get dominated until it don't work.

42-10 jets

WE are Jaguars.

You should be worried about this game.

There is no guarantee that we win here.  The refs, the NFL, the media, the crowd, they all want the Jets to win.

Personally, I give our chances...

Our Defense must must must have a big game here.. we need negative plays for the jets o and turnovers.

We are playing against a struggling QB ..an offensive line that has struggled to
Protect him…  a running game that has struggled as of late… and in weather conditions that make it tough to move the ball!?!?

Our d must be a big factor in this one if we want to have a chance!

That and don’t turn it over.
It's not just going to be wet, its going to be windy and cold. They are forecasting this as a superstorm. Its going to be a good day to be a power running team, and physical on both lines of scrimmage. I'm not sure that we're in the same category yet as the Jets in either of those categories. We look more like a finesse team at the moment, and weather can wreck a finesse team pretty quickly.
These next 3 games are going to be tough. I assume the opposing teams are probably much more motivated to bring the Jags back down due to the extra buzz we’ve been getting

Haven't you heard?  Jags didn't do anything special - Dallas just blew it.  Nothing to see here. Smile

But do you see the jets as a physical power running team? They are really struggling up front offensively to establish the run in particular.

I agree that their d line and backers are the real deal.. and that we are more finesse.. our RB is more of a slasher than a Downhill runner and our running game has more success with misdirection and getting to the edge than running between the tackles.

But I just think/ am hoping that their offense is going to be sooooo bad that it negates their biggest strength and gives our d some success.. maybe even more success than they deserve.

You disagree?
[BLEEP], I just realized I'll be at bowling for the first half. They'll have it on at the lanes, but I obviously won't be able to pay close attention. I mat have to feign an arm injury.

Do they? Jets feel way more like lovable loser Cubs persona before their WS. Here in NYC, I don't see as much Jets fandom as I would expect. Even some media types root for Jets feel less enthused. Those are are legitimate fans just don't believe in any of their current QBs and are thinking more about FA/Draft to get a QB who can actually be a threat in the playoffs with that defense.

Plus Jets will be in all black, and there was some study that said refs throw more flags on teams in all black.

On a very wet field, the Jags type of running style can be very effective.

They were running reasonably well with Flacco and Wilson prior to Mike White taking over, and now they are back to a Zach Wilson offense, which probably means more running. They've averaged 4.2 yds per rush for the season. I hope we can stop them, cause I don't think we're going to rush for very many yards, and passing may be tough in that weather. In our only comparable game, we ran for 71 against the Eagles. and that was with Cam Robinson healthy.
