Hope the team is in a bubble not listening to any of it.
Comes with the territory. All of that is up to coaching. Thankfully we have a coach that's already been there and done it and he's been able to set up the offense to be successful with Lawrence's talents.
I think they'll get used to it. Winning is contagious. Starting to see Lawrence's confidence spill out of him and you could see that [BLEEP] eating grin on his face when he got a second chance in the 4th quarter to tie it.
We now have a face to this franchise for the next decade+.

I don't expect a high scoring game. I expect some turnovers with the wet football.
Hopefully they're reviewing the Eagles tape and preparing for this weather. It's been ugly here all week as well in Jacksonville weather wise so it should potentially help to some extent.
I am concerned with Etienne in this game. He's put the football on the ground too much this year and the Jets are very, very physical on defense.
Would rather see a steady 3.5 YPC out of him with his arms bear hugging the football Vs. him getting too fast and too loose to where he lets his guard down.
I can't stomach another fumble out of him. It's really concerning moving forward if I am being honest.

Another playoff game.
With the Cowboys locked into the 5th position they may end up resting players against the Titans... Jags have to win out.
We'll need Agnew to have a huge game. Flip the field. Trevor can't have more than 1 turnover.
trevor played in a rain day against balt. as well and played fine. i believe he learned from that game. i expect a great run game and trevor doing trevor things.

I'm not sure we can call that a rain day. The rain stopped before the game started and didn't come back again. except for a bit of a drizzle for a few minutes.
The Philly film might come in a bit handy though.

I think the tacks could lose the rest of the way and beat us in the end to win the division. We'd have the same record, but they would have the better division record. If I were them, I'd be resting starters starting now - their playoff starts in week 18 against us.

Not necessarily.
If both the Cowboys beat the Eagles and Giants beat Vikings or both Cowboys/Giants lose, Cowboys still need 1 more win to lock up #5. Easier to do that against Tennessee rather than WFT and that rivalry.
If the Cowboys lose the Eagles and Giants beat the Vikings, then the Cowboys will only be 0.5 games up on the Giants, and will have to win out.
If Cowboys win but Giants lose, then yes Cowboys have clinched the #5 seed with an outside chance at the division in case Eagles lose out and Cowboys win out.

They already are since most of them are injured.

Yeah, my friends and I have decided we are all gonna get together in the warmth of my house and enjoy the game. It's going to be absolutely brutal to sit in those stands with the rain, wind, and low temps.
47 degrees is warm. I'm in Pittsburgh and they are calling for a low of 6 degrees for the Steelers v Raiders game on Christmas Eve (8pm).
Hopefully Trevor is practicing by handling some wet balls.
Yes, I went there. Sue me!

Yep, we actually lucked out if it's 47° through the game. The rain will make it cold and miserable, but not nearly as bad as it could be. Hopefully Trevor is practicing throwing with a glove on from his wheelchair this week.

6 degrees and a blizzard almost sounds warmer than 47 with 2 inches of cold rain

The wind and rain is going to make that 47 degrees feel a whole hell of a lot colder.
I am very concerned with this one really because of the weather and the jet defense combined….
I am really hopeful though that the weather really helps our defense by forcing the jets to be one dimensional. The jets have struggled to run the ball consistently so they won’t be able to do what the eagles did to us in the last bad weather game and that’s run it down our throats.
If the weather grounds the jets for good from throwing the ball then I think the fortune of the game favors us. I think Trevor and our combination of coaching / momentum makes just enough plays to edge their great d if both offenses are having to adjust because of conditions.

Hypothermia becomes a real thing.
Tannehill is going to miss the game vs the Texans. So that gives the Texans a legitimate chance against the titans. If the Texans beat the titans and we beat the jets on Thursday, would you let trevor sit against the texans to avoid aggravating his toe or gwtting another injury since it will be a meaningless game in that case? It would also give him 2 weeks to mentally prepare for the titans game.

And lose to those crap-sacks for the tenth straight time?! Not on your life. Keep it rolling!
Or sit everyone - the tacks should for the rest of the season til they play us, and probably will if they are smart. Then again, maybe those hos will make an effort to snap that losing streak before they play the Jags, so who knows.
Going to need some run game support. The conditions will not allow for all out passing it seems.

Nah. I think the toe is fine and the risk of injury with him getting the ball out quickly like he does is very low. Would rather have the momentum of the win streak and to break the streak that the tinhorns have on us.
I might consider taking him out early though.
Not sure if this has been posted yet so forgive me if so.
Doug Pederson went 6-0 on Thursdays as the Eagles coach from 2016-2020.

I decided that as well. Plus with the Thursday game, we do get Amazon Prime Vision with the full field view.
