Everybody is predicting the Jaguars to wake up and win the division but I don’t think it’s that easy. Richardson has the ability to get 116 on the ground with 2 scores and 190 in the air with a pass TD with some bubble screens and dump offs and maybe a deep shot here and there. I look back to the first Texans game last year. I hope I’m wrong but..
Colts - 28
Jaguars - 27
We’re not going anywhere unless we can sack the QB. Not hit, not pressure, but sack.
I'm thinking it will be closer than it should be but I still see the Jags coming out on top. Likely with a Richardson mistake or two along the way killing momentum for them. I could see something like 30-24.

Something I've noticed during the preseason is that our defensive line has looked fantastic. Unfortunately injuries are hampering that excitement a bit now, especially with Hamilton, but I think there is just no way we regress from last year. I think we hit home a lot, and our D-Line has an Eagles-esque transformation. I think our defense is gonna be great.
We have a good "play from ahead" defense. We need to get a lead.
I’ll be there! I went to the first two week one games of Trevor’s career. I think third time will be the charm.
He seems to be able to break tackles
Chaisson better not try and get him the lol
You guys really worried about a slightly more athletic tim tebow? Come on bruh

Scrambled until he gets whacked by wingard
It's like a younger Cam Newton.

Lol, AR isn't close to the QB Newton was

Yep. Indy’s first string played the entire first half against Philly backups and AR completed 35.9% of his passes for 79 yards. He didn’t throw any INTs though so I guess clots fans are psyched.
Gardner Minshew just threw his clipboard on the ground in frustration.

3 INTs, a fumble, and 4 for 11 for 19 yards in a half will get him pulled.
Shhhhhh...we want Irsay to riff

I just wish Jeff Saturday were still coaching them, we need something to entertain us once the game is out of reach

AR could run for 150 and 2 scores but at the same time throw for 150 with 3 picks.
Hopefully the Jags offense comes out firing on all cylinders and we can get some kind of pressure on AR.
Agreed, don't ever look ahead, every opponent is viable

heh....he said butt sack
Just watched the condensed replay of the Ind/Phi game and man AR is WILDLY inaccurate. We knew this, but still.

I wouldn’t say I’m worried but more so that I don’t want to just assume the Jags will crush them.
Fields was wildly inaccurate last year and yet the Bears beat the 49ers week 1.
There are always weird games week 1 and I hope the Jags aren’t one of them.

Yea until we get carved up. It's more of a comparison of the athlete, not necessarily the player.

Surely we will pick up on that. Keep him in the pocket, mind your rush angles, if you get ahold of him wrap the heck up.. get a spy.

Yeah, I watched every game of his in college. He's a bad QB. He's a great athlete but not a good QB. It's any given Sunday and any NFL team can lose on any given week, not just week 1. With that said we need to play a lot of zone and switch up coverages and AR will get confused and I see him throwing 2 picks. I say 1 to Lloyd and 1 to Cisco.

That part. I will preach this every game.
Jags win by at least 10 or more points. I see the game being close in the 1st half. Jags run away in the 2nd half.
