Chaisson better not try and get him the lol

Did someone say something about the “PS4 Controller”
Week 1 is so hard to predict. It’s when major upsets usually happen.

Just get the W. Not end of the world but would prefer to be 1-0 heading into a likely loss against KC

Week 2 isn't a likely loss lol

Mahomes is 13-3 in September. Dude is very good in all months but he’s especially good in September.

It’s not a likely loss but it’ll be a huge battle.

Looking ahead to week 2 concerns me.  Doug is pretty good at keeping them grounded but we are all only human.
I'm not worried. Don't you guys remember how the Jags would start off the season with a win to get all of our hopes up just to dash them against the rocks like storm waves? We'll be fine.

Yeah, I don't see them looking past week 1.  The Clots beat us the last time we played them so I'm sure they want revenge

The Chiefs are the new patriots. Almost always ready to play, QB that can pull off any victory no matter how unlikely, and a coach who game plans to take away what you do best. So yes a likely loss

Well they also have the best TE of All Time and the best DT in the league along with a top 3 oline.  With that said we played them twice last year in KC and they beat us by one score both times.  I don't think they have improved and we have and the game is in Jax.  I think we win
Wondering what happens with Taylor and his situation, even if he does stay there, I still like our odds against them. It's still a divisional game and anything can happen. I think we'll win to the tune of 31 to 17 more than likely with a forced turnover or two. I expect our pass rush to get after the QB, regardless of who is starting and I think our offense should come out firing on all cylinders early this year instead of trying to find their groove earlier in comparison to last year.

That's a good argument. There's a strong possibility it will be proved.

This is an interesting game. I think it's 50/50 at home for us. I am still disappointed that this wasn't tagged as a SNF game though. It's a [BLEEP] divisional round play-off game rematch for [BLEEP]'s sake. Can't wait to watch 1 quarter of a few boring [BLEEP] Dallas or New York Giants SNF games this year though.

If we smoke the Chiefs at home in week two though it would set-up one hell of a headline going into week three and I honestly don't know if I want that pressure for the team that early. LOL. I don't think the wheels would come off. Doug would probably keep everybody cool, collected, etc.

But, man, that week two game can't get here fast enough. I know, I know. Don't look too far ahead. But, that's one of the few games this year where you'll really get a feel as to whether or not this team is challenging for another play-off run because if you can go toe-to-toe with Mahomes and Chiefs? You can go toe-to-toe with anybody.
They conducted a Twitter poll on the NFL Channel while Tennessee plays NE. "Who will win the AFC South this year?" Tennessee received 66% of the votes to Jacksonville's 28%.

This shall make our AFCS domination all the sweeter

No, bruh hes like tim tebow. Cam Newton may not be the best qb of all time but he could throw a football, this guy cant.

Agreed

He'll get a few scrambles

A'int gonna make the difference

You know dudes cheeks if me and nyc are agreeing about a qb take.
The key for week 1 will be the offensive has to live up to the hype and not make mistakes. Especially against a Gus Bradley coached defense that will be relatively predicable.

The Indy offense has so many question marks with rookie QB, Taylor's holdout/trade request, Pittman still have it?, any other pass catchers. It will be a good test of the defense to check for communication and doing your job, and if they can actually generate some pressure which should cause more issues against an offense with that many questions. I do worry about the deep ball though. Pierce has some speed and AR has the arm to throw them up there, so it will be all about the secondary doing their job and making the Colts execute, which you wouldn't expect them to be able to do.

I think the key is just outright owning this game from the first whistle to the final whistle. I understand it's a divisional game. However, I really want to see this team win on every level. I want the offense to dominate. I want the defense to dominate. I don't want to see McManus unless it's a PAT or going into halftime for a last second FG. I don't want Cooke out there at all.

This is a statement game. We barely won out last year, we had to pull off some miracles that we may not get to see again this year, therefore, for all of those reasons above that you cited with their issues, we need to outright take this game away from them. Same can be said for the other two teams in this division. If we want a seat at the table with the other big three names in the AFC, we need to cement ourselves this year.

Bury these [BLEEP] early and let's kick our feet up early at home.
I can’t wait for this game. It’s going to be a lot of fun to watch.
