Cooks is the guy to keep.
That play right there is why you cut CJ

Some really good situational practice here in the 2:00 minute drill. Have to respect Pederson for milking every second. Got a little too sloppy there but it happens. Would have liked to have seen maybe one more screen type of play to Washington to give him a chance.
WHY is Beathard the #2?! Dude stinks.
Cooks really might be the one to keep.
Man, I kinda would like to see the Jags keep 2 of these big recievers... Harris and Cooks to go with Ridley, Kirk, Zay, Agnew. Tim Jones just hasn't been impressive to me. His one plus over the others is he was on the roster last year.

NH3...
Beathard sucks.
Man, I called that Beathard pass before it happened. He seems like an incredibly average backup.

I'd like to see them keep Cooks and Harris. Their size would be excellent compliments to the rest of the roster.

That was a dumb play, for sure.

He should be the 5th or 6th guy. Easily. Because of his size and catch radius. I am a little on the fence with Washington, even as a recent draft pick, just not seeing much out of him to like. Tim is boom or bust. One week he's making tough catches, the next? He's dropping some easy one's or missing blocks. May want to say [BLEEP] it and keep Cooks and Harris because of their size and speed abilities and stash Washington on the practice squad.

Yep. Just said the same thing. We need the taller options out there.

You're not wrong.

But CJ is loved by Trevor...and he knows how to play the "backup" role better than our #3.

Now, if you need a QB to improvise...and maybe win a game off script... CJ ain't that guy.    If Trevor sustains an injury I'm sure the plan is to hand the ball off to the RBs 60 times a game.

It is what it is.

Let us pray.

Time Will Tell.

NH3...
Beathard looks very non-athletic.  When he's forced to scramble, he doesn't seem to run very well.

He's very clunky and I think it's a mistake by this staff for not giving Rourke even more opportunities with the 2's after what he did in the first two games. He has damn near the same build and athletic ability as Lawrence and I don't see why you don't build around that instead. Makes no [BLEEP] sense to me personally.

Put him on the PS or pay him to be Trevor's assistant. If they don't cut him, you risk losing Rourke.

So was it my PC or was there no sound for the mic'd up segment?

It's happened a couple of times.   I'm watching the local feed via NFL.com, and the sideline..non-game broadcast stuff has all been muted.   It's kinda weird.

I didn't think it would be happening on the local Jacksonville feed.    I thought it had something to do with the game being streamed.

It's CBS. They [BLEEP] suck. I am streaming it on Hulu while at work. It sucks. My folks are using local cable and it's also [BLEEP] up on Comcast. It's the network.
