Betting line continues to heavily favor 49ers. I really hope we blow San Fran right out of Jacksonville. Demolish and demoralize.

Even if we do win, it'll be about trouble in SanFran, not that the Jags are likely the top team in the NFL. Ah well.

Good!

It’s Duval against all ya’ll!

No bueno.

I saw that. Hopefully if he does play he's not 100%. Even a 50% Trent is better than his replacement though

Or win one. It is comically myopic to expect reverence from outsiders otherwise.

Go Jags, crush the niners.

I’ve always thought that if the Jags ever hoist the Lombardi trophy, the narrative will be about what a down year it was for all teams across the NFL. The Jags would be mentioned at least as having taken advantage of it, lol.

The Saints predictor, I think, has to do with how weak the NFC is this year.

Just more bulletin board material for the Jags though!

Well, the Saints schedule is relatively easy from here on out and there isn’t as much competition in the NFC in general.  Predicting better odds for them reaching the Super Bowl isn’t saying they are better than the Jags. They should be in line for a run to lock up their division though.

Regarding the 9ers game, would love to see a statement performance by the Jags ala ‘99 week 1.

I’ll take it and it would be glorious.  The next narrative would be what a down few years for the NFL.  Then, a down decade.
The one thing we really need to do is get a lead. The Niners will want to run the ball, run screens and get us to play on the LOS. That's when they hit you with a PA and deep ball to Aiyuk/Samuel/Kittle.

If we can get a 1-2 score lead and make them move more to a pass first O then that plays into our hands.

We really need the O to step up and execute well and finish drives off.

Author could be reaching big time on saying Shannahan and Bosa think Trevor can't read a defense but...... Man I hope we go out there and absolutely abuse them just so I can see Twitter bury them.

Oof.  That's another example of the media manufacturing a narrative.  Nothing Shannahan said was offensive, quite the opposite.  "Little Yellow Towels" all over again, this time against the 9ers and not us though.

Nice commentary from Brandt there.  Pretty sure he's a Bills fan, right?

I just watched this video and was coming to post it. You beat me to it! Lol.

I like everything said here. He poses the question, who cares about what if the 49ers lose and counters with what if the Jaguars win? Evidently Vegas has the 9ers beating us (of course) and he makes a few points about it specifically that there is a prejudice against this team because we're small market team. The league and everyone else needs to get over it.

We're here, we're winning and we're staying in Jacksonville.

Nothing like the opposing teams media providing bulletin board material.

First play of the game Ridley over the top for 75 yard TD?
Zay Jones out with Campbell and Cisco questionable

I firmly believe Zay being back in is what will truly elevate the offense. Hope to be proven wrong Sunday

Pretty confident Campbell and Cisco will be back. It's a good sign Zay at least got a full week of limited practices in finally and not just straight DNPs

Trent Williams is considered a "game time decision" and seems like it's leaning to him not playing but I wouldn't be surprised if he's out there.

Lol the only person to pick the saints was David Carr, because his brother is the QB of the saints.
