The line is now SF -3.5

SF is 1-30 when losing by 3 or more points in the 4th Qtr under shannahan.

So on a neutral field the bookies think SF wins by 6.5 points. A team on a 5-game win streak is a relatively big underdog against a team with a 3-game losing streak. Interesting.
NFL script writers will have the 49ers bounce back after a 3 game losing streak. Jags come sleepy off the bye week after 5 game winning streak. NFL script writers have the 49ers by 6+.

My teal kool-aid says Jags win by 6+

This is the way.

I have spoken.
Kittle is a huge concern for me. He has the ability to do what Kelce usually does to us and he's due for a big game. Hopefully Trevor has a smart and good game. On offense the key will be to block Bosa and Young
This is a benchmark game. Win this game, and we will know we are legit.
Let’s punch the 9rs in their eye lol

Go jags
Looking like no Trent Williams

49ers message boards guys saying Cousins and Burrow held onto the ball long enough to make a throw just before getting crushed and wondering if Trevor has it in him to stand up and deliver in the face of the rush. Someone should send them some X clips of Trevor dropping dimes while getting hit hard

Thats huge.  Their offense hasn't been the same without him. I look forward to huge games from Allen and Walker

Idk if "he's due for a big game". Man had 9 catches for 149 yards last week, I think he just got his big game.

Yeah, wa a good game.  He had no TDs.  He'd had bigger games than that .  He had a game with 3 TDs a fee weeks back.  He'd had games with over 200 yrds before.  If we hold him to under 100 yrds no TDs I'll be happy

Hopefully we can hold him under 50 yrds

He's actually been pretty good in 3 of his last 4 games (except the Browns who have the best D in the league at the moment).

Not sure he's due for a big game at all considering he's already had 2 pretty big games recently.

If anyone is "due for a big game", it's Deebo who hasn't done anything since week 3 (obviously injured for a weeks too).
This looms large:

Jags have had way too many fumbles and a couple of INTs that cost them a minimum of 3 points.

They've also been moved out of FG range by penalty a couple of times and by sacks a couple of times.

Can't make any of those errors vs the better AFC contenders coming up on the schedule.
Honestly just play clean football and I think we win.

What Tomlin said a couple weeks ago has hung with me, we run a 3-4 with almost 4-3 ends. Allen and Walker is what makes this go, sacks be damned. Both of them are huge athletic freaks that really take away the run game on early downs.

We end up making Purdy one dimensional and he’ll crack. End of the day Trevor>Purdy and it shows in the last 5 minutes Sunday.
Trent Williams practiced today (ankle heavily taped) but word is that he might play now.

No bueno.

Yup, it's the same exact thing that snake bit this team in the 1st half of last season. Difference is we've won games this season despite the turnovers, where as last year they couldn't over come it early on. A lot of that has to do with the Defense leading the league in take aways this year.
Would love to see a similar game as the '99 week 1 game against the 49ers here at home.
Some interesting stuff in the media. Not a single nfl.com predictor picked the Jags to win Sunday.
https://www.nfl.com/news/week-10-nfl-pic...nfl-season

They also think the Saints are a better prediction for the superbowl (what?).

Betting line continues to heavily favor 49ers. I really hope we blow San Fran right out of Jacksonville. Demolish and demoralize.

Even if we do win, it'll be about trouble in SanFran, not that the Jags are likely the top team in the NFL. Ah well.
Don't want to be overrated by anyone until we get to the Superb Owl.

Or win one. It is comically myopic to expect reverence from outsiders otherwise.

Go Jags, crush the niners.
