I went with 70 receptions for 1,025 yards and 11 TD's. I think he'll be utilized a lot inside the redzone personally. His size and footwork are great in my opinion for a guy coming out of college. Expect a lot of 50/50 contests coming his way and going his way with Lawrence slinging it.
Look at you!
He's currently on pace for 72, 1168 and 8 TDs.
Except for the red zone stuff....
Doug and his stooges have no idea what they are doing in the red zone.
We have our very own chase type of wr but………

If only Doug could figure this out.
Maybe we should make NYJ4jags the HC...
If only....
Well, they fed him plenty in the last game, hopefully that's the new norm.
Nine targets is double what he saw in weeks one and two.
Does anyone have the missed throw from Lawrence to btj
I missed it in the first hakf

So you miss a throw and I have to wait till Wednesday to hear about it.
Trevor misses a throw and we got 12 pages of doom. I don't get this place sometimes.

If only he had a working QB under center he would be in the coversation for ROTY.

Well if you got some good recievers it does help the o-line too by getting open fast and having multiple choices for a QB to make fast decisions without eating a sack.
The problem is we don't really have good recievers besides the rook and we have a QB that looks like a backup at best.
Kirk seems bored and enjoying his wealth.

Lawrence literally missed him in the red zone in Houston on Sunday. He also had the PI with Ramsey in the opener that could have been a TD. I think they're using him more than people realize. We're just not connecting.
They had his number dialed up and he was open on the play that resulted in a safety with Lawrence. Lawrence also missed him earlier in Houston when he threw a back shoulder frozen rope instead of leading him along the sideline deep when he clearly had Stingley beat by a step or two.
I am telling you, after coming to my senses a bit. It's really 60/40 at this point. With the coaches being in the right and the players just sucking at every crucial opportunity they have had when it matters the most to score or keep the chains moving.
I agree with Doug man, "Coaches can't make the plays for them". They dialed up plenty of good plays. These [BLEEP] need to execute. Hate to say that. I do. Because I was really getting onto the coaches cases for doing things I didn't like earlier on. They HAVE adjusted though.
Every week, when I was complaining about the short yardage run success once they got past the 1st and 10+ yardage situations with their running plays, they have either gone to quicker passing plays in those situations or at least beefed up the personnel packages with the TE room to create more running lanes or lead in WAM blocking situations.
Coaches have made adjustments. Players need to respond at this point.

I'm not going to derail this thread. I know better now. I disagree to a certain extent. I think it's more 60/40 to the coaches for why we're O-4. But that's for another thread.
As for BTJ. That first throw to him where he got the PI call against Ramsey proved he's a real one. He got up and got right into Ramsey's [BLEEP] eating face. Loved it. Then that throw and catch in the corner of the end zone at Miami was a thing of beauty. Great route running, great speed, great throw, great catch.
The guy is Justin Blackmon, but with actual potential. You pay this man whatever he wants when his 2nd contract comes due. But you gotta keep feeding him, or he's gonna start getting diva-esque. Give him his flowers.
Oh, and the way the play calling got him touches in short screens or end arounds on Sunday was great play calling. The coaches seemed like they were doing their best to get him the ball as often as they could. Gotta give credit when it's due.
He was beating #4 on the Texans like a rented mule.
Lol at that screen shot of the defender diving
