I disagree.
He was the main cause of the loss. We win easily with an average qb
No try again.
We score on 1 yard line we win

No, I got to watch his stinking play on the field every week
He's the only thing you ever talk about. He's always the reason for anything bad that happens. It's always and only him.
Just makes me laugh at this point.
He missed like 4 or 5 that he needs to hit. Then you have the drops too that don’t help.
Yeah this was maybe Trevor’s worst game as a pro. Accounting for where he is at in his career

Trevor is broken, probably beyond repair. He got Wentz'd.
I literally feel sorry for every player drafted to this perpetually awful organization.
Already looking to the draft before October again.
Yeah, imagine the disappointment on draft day when your name gets called when the Jags have the pick.
You have to put on that awkward "yay!" smile, but deep down, you're absolutely shattered that your off to a shitshow franchise.

It ain’t all on the qb. I would put more of the blame on Press.

The QB gets the blame and the glory. His play is the #1 reason why we are 0-4. I know your a homer and hate to face reality but I am calling it like I see it. If he played just average I would shut up but every week he finds a way to infuriate the fanbase outside of the blind homers.

The problems run a lot deeper than just Lawrence. The entire team is just unprepared. It's coaching, bad drafting, bad free agent signings. The only solution is a true, complete blow up. Fire every coach, every scout, the GM, you name it.
You're stuck with Lawrence after giving him that monster contract. No way out of it. The only thing you can do is finally get an O-line that can block and get a young coach, not one of these retreads.
I haven't seen one person on this board say he's the only problem. He's just part of the problem

Yup so he can fumble on his first drop back again.

He did leave 12pts o the board today

Press gameplan had 3 wide open receivers in the endzone that he QB failed to complete. Press can't make the throws for Lawrence. Stop excusing.
Can someone explain the finger guns penalty

Americans are some of the biggest [BLEEP] wimps on the planet who whine about [BLEEP] everything. That's about it.
It all comes down to the owner pulling his head out of his [BLEEP] and making some key decisions. But he won't. He simply won't. I don't know why.
(09-29-2024, 04:26 PM)StrayaJag Wrote: [ -> ]Can someone explain the finger guns penalty
Yes, it only counts as a penalty against the Jaguars.

and that's it right?
It'll take our owner months, if not years, to finally see (and accept) what everyone else has already seen.

Yeah, that's pretty much spot on. I wouldn't fire anybody until late November or December though. If they are as bad as we've seen they'll contribute to the better draft pick. Perhaps they pick up some games when the schedule gets easier and we start getting some guys back from injury and perhaps they dig themselves out and can get themselves back in contention later on. Wishful thinking I know. The one good piece of news from today's game is that the tinhorns are also not a very good football team and will probably be looking to pick up their share of L's over the coming months.

There is like 10 TVs here and I'm watching all the games. JJ did the same exact thing on a 1st down and no penalty

Then stop watching after all you’re tired of the trash at QB.
And reality is that the team lost today, not one guy, and once we get rid of that one guy. Will you be watching us at 0-17?

Yeah, it's not a BTJ thing at all. I've seen many WRs do it. But let's make an example out of the Jaguars because the tinhorns are so undisciplined we have to make up something to call the Jags for.
