Lawrence still has 0 ints on defense. Bottom of the league in rushing. Can’t block against Cleveland to give up the safety even though Lawrence double teamed him. Lawrence fumbled in Miami which cost us the win. Lawrence is getting torched in man coverage on the outside. Lawrence can’t get to the QB. Lawrence can’t call the right plays. Lawrence has dropped passes to kill drives. Lawrence has went for it on 4th down with terrible consequences.

You're stuck with Lawrence after giving him that monster contract. No way out of it. The only thing you can do is finally get an O-line that can block and get a young coach, not one of these retreads.
Yeah, that's pretty much spot on. I wouldn't fire anybody until late November or December though. If they are as bad as we've seen they'll contribute to the better draft pick. Perhaps they pick up some games when the schedule gets easier and we start getting some guys back from injury and perhaps they dig themselves out and can get themselves back in contention later on. Wishful thinking I know. The one good piece of news from today's game is that the tinhorns are also not a very good football team and will probably be looking to pick up their share of L's over the coming months.
Yea, the tinhorns o line and defense are nowhere near Good enough to live up to all that preaseason hype. Mixon does make a difference as he is an underrated back.. but they still have their issues.
Stroud will win the division and maybe a playoff game for them though… that’s what a first round QB should look like… precise with his scrambles and evading the rush, and decisive and accurate on nearly all of his throws.
Those two things are exactly what Lawerence lacks unfortunately… I thought the pass pro was good today other than an occasional all out blitz that got home. Defense kept us in this game and Lawerence has to find a way to bring this thing home.. Kirk and Thomas both played well and so did our backs… we didn’t need him to be a super in this game the way the second half played out.. we just needed better than what we got.
And it’s a shame because overall I thought the team busted its butt to win this

There is like 10 TVs here and I'm watching all the games. JJ did the same exact thing on a 1st down and no penalty
Yeah, it's not a BTJ thing at all. I've seen many WRs do it. But let's make an example out of the Jaguars because the tinhorns are so undisciplined we have to make up something to call the Jags for.

Don’t get me wrong, Trevor deserves a BIG share for today’s loss.
But he also hit Gabe for a touchdown. That’s 6 points. He hit Kirk in the hands on a busted play he had to scramble in (I thought he always spun into sacks, silly me).
He’s in a funk, and I don’t think he’ll come out of it until we put a better system around him but that’s a big IF
He’s struggling for sure and it seems like he’s regressed. But whether you like it or not he just signed a big deal and he’s going to be starting here for a while. He’s gotta fight through it and the O coordinator needs to be replaced.

He WAS in a funk in the first half. He turned things around in the 2nd half. Doug Pederson betrayed him and the entire team with the way he chose to finish this game.
This was a game that was indicative of how inept Doug is as a HC. This was a win. 4 minutes left, we should have been up by at least 6. Honestly, we should have been up 10. Tank just got you 50 yards. You take him out, put ETN in and punch it through. You don't let your gassed RB that just made a huge play to keep going.
Lawrence did everything he could to get us back in this game in the 2nd half. Tank did Tank things. Everything the players were doing was done well. And the coaches [BLEEP] the bed. To be honest, the coaches have been [BLEEP] the bed for 2 seasons now.
Do whatever you want at QB but Doug has lost this team and constantly passing blame off to the players isn't going to help anything. His presser after the game was a joke.
I will say he has one of the worst pocket presence I've ever seen at this point in his career but you dont sit him, that fixes nothing. We need a real coach that can coach it out of him.

I haven't seen one person on this board say he's the only problem. He's just part of the problem
Look at the post right above yours. ?
I love listening to Hicken go apocalyptic.
But there's no way we cut bait on Lawrence. He's a man on an island with trash coaching.
Cooter served as passing game coordinator with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022. The Jaguars offense finished in the top 10 in yards per game (357.4 – 10th), passing yards per game (232.9 – 10th), fewest sacks allowed (28 – fifth), first downs per game (20.7 – tied-seventh), third down percentage (41.86 – ninth) and points per game (23.8 – 10th).
He worked with Trevor Lawrence, who completed 387-of-584 passes for 4,113 yards with 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions for a 95.2 passer rating. Lawrence also compiled five rushing touchdowns en route to being named to his first career Pro Bowl. He ranked in the top 10 in completions (seventh), passing yards (ninth), passing touchdowns (tied-eighth), lowest interception percentage (1.4 – sixth) and passer rating (10th).
You can't. It's a PR nightmare if you do. LOL. Also, whether anybody likes it or not. He's still the best QB on this roster. He just found a new way to lose us a game today.
He didn't turn it over. He just missed two massive whooper's in TD's today and ballerina twirled himself into two sacks.
Hate him or love him. We're stuck with him for awhile and ill leave it at that.

I know you're upset. But come on. Take a step back. Trevor didn't lose this game for us. He didn't win the game. But this loss isn't on Trevor Lawrence.

I watched the defnese play great in the second half outside of that one drive. I watched the defense make a great stop and force a punt with 4 mins left in the game only for Lazy Lawrence in the offense respond by going 3 and out and burning almost 0 clock. People like you will always have an excuse.
Time to put the coach down. Pederson looking like Hugh Douglas

Don't make him drink your blind koolaid. Lawrence flat out missed 3 td throws today. Who else you wanna blame? He is throwing less than 200 yards a game this season. Get real man. It is like Shad's mentality. Wait forever to change things and keep having hopeful wishing on the failing product.

At some point you may have to come to the realization that you can't "coach him up" It could be one of those cases where he becomes a backup journeymen and has a solid career as a backup. Starting Qb's in year 4 do not look at bad as Trevor Lawrence. Today he had time in the pocket and he had open receivers. The coaches can't throw it for him.

When you look at the completion percentage and missed opportunities today overall?
It's primarily on Lawrence...
If coaches are expected to call every play into perfection? Where is the accountability on the player or players then for failing to execute them?
Doug's correct. It's a two way street, and, Lawrence had two massive opportunities to pull this team out of the "funk".
Instead? He left everybody at the altar.. twice...

I'd rather get rid of Doug and his goons than Lawrence.
And by the way, Trevor did everything he could in the 2nd half to get them out of the funk.
