Just take a look at what is going on in Venezuela today.  This is what Socialism, "free" stuff from the government and "income equality" brings.

More like this is what happens when the price of the resource you've based your entire economy on takes a nosedive.

I'm not exactly a Bernie guy, but I believe he's been consistent on wanting a Denmark style system instead of a Venezuelan or Cuban one.

Well when it comes to being in a position of leadership, the buck stops at the top.  In this case, it's a country that imports more than it exports.  Hmmm....

So is that realistic for the U.S.?  Pretty much no.  We don't export much, but import quite a bit.

The Bernie folks should simply support Donald Trump, he is not only the better solution than Hilary for their woes but he didn't resort to dirty tricks to eliminate Bernie Sanders from being elected.
