Haters gonna hate. Hurns is on the front page of NFL.com. Knew this kid would be special his rookie year, he showed so much potential, we all thought he was going to be our speedster his rookie year. I think his hernia may have hampered his speed this year and if the kid is fully healthy next year he will put up even better stats.
I'm damn glad I bought his Jersey after his first season, was the only one with it last year pretty much. Feel like I'll see a lot more at The Bank this year.
Im gonna say he goes 1150 yrds and 8 TDs this year. Lee and Thomas have big seasons as well
Quote:Except that I have said many times that I understand it was based on last year's production, and even with the fluky TD numbers I still don't think he was a top 100 player purely based on last years production even.
You're the one who has read me say that a number of times and still can't get it through your thick skull, to use your inciting words not mine. The reading comprehension on this board truly is something special.
You said you understood that this ranking is solely based on last year's production and then ignorantly turned around and tried to use regression, which is only good for predicting future outcomes, to back your point. This just shows your neanderthalic, to use your words not mine, understanding of this very simple concept.
You don't need a high level of reading comprehension to notice a guy make an idiot of himself and just make things worse by desperately trying to save face.
If you want to really save face, show us a receiver that had 1100+ yards and at least 10 TDs and not make the list. That would at least show some sort of validity to your opinion.
Speaking of KY, that is something you really could have used before what happened to you in this thread.
Quote:What are you talking about? All you have done is post inflammatory post after inflammatory post, with zero contribution of any substance. If you expected me to respond to your incessant trolling then I don't know what to say.
And fail. I'm the troll? Haha. Dude, you need a life. I seem to have struck a nerve tho. I've provided very lucrative facts that you are indeed just making crap up in this thread. So please go on and tell us more imaginary things. Nice trolling by the way.
Quote:I keep trying to move on, but trolls keep posting inflammatory posts calling me out falsely or flat out being incapable of reading plain english. But you're right, they won't stop so I'll just ignore from now on.
Oh we can read plain English fine. It's just when you make up things and expect us to believe them. That is grade school crap. Several posters including myself have debunked your so called "theory" yet you still are here, still making yourself look dumb. You don't need any help from us.

My god the comments section... Lol. It's like ky and yo boy took their bash session there.

Last two times I am jumping in here for real (the other for jagsgooner next), since you all really don't get it.
1. Hurns didn't have 1100+ and 10 TDs last year either, and even if he did who cares? 1100 and 10 are some random arbitrary benchmark numbers that you completely made up, it is not some magical qualifying number to make it onto any lists. And just because someone in the past did or didn't have those numbers and did or didn't make the list in X year, it doesn't mean someone putting up similar numbers the next year deserves to make it. Every one of these is a logical fallacy.
2. By the most optimistic measure I can find Hurns was the 16th best WR (or 12th per snap), that's really good and if 12 was more or less a consensus then he would probably deserve a spot on the back end of a top 100 probably. But it's the outlier of the metrics not the consensus. By most metrics he was around 20-24 last year, again really good, but not a top 100 player.
3. I could be wrong, and in no way am I going to take the time to look it up and/or wait for the results of the rest of the top 100 and come back, but I will guess that guys like Joe Berger and Weston Richburg probably don't make the top 100. Nor do I think guys like Rodney McLeod or George Iloka will. Those were probably the top 2 centers and two of the top 6 safeties in the league last year. Hopefully I'm wrong and all 4 make it because they very much deserve it, but my point is people are going to have excellent seasons and be left off a top 100 list for many reasons. Hurns doesn't deserve to make it over any of those 4, or a multitude of others that will wind up not making it.

You can honestly look at this thread and somehow convince yourself that I am the troll and not you? It literally took me going back 5 pages to find a single post that wasn't a direct inflammatory attack at me or a guy who wasn't even in the thread, without a single post of any kind of actual substance (and even then your attempt at substance had absolutely zero logic behind it, but that's besides the point).
Despite what college campuses are trying to tell you right now, someone disagreeing with you doesn't make them a troll..especially when they are calmly using stats and metrics to support their side. A troll is doing exactly what you have been doing above, over and over and over.
LOL I had to delete 11 consecutive direct quotes of you doing nothing but trolling so I could post this because trying to fit all of your needless flame into a post exceeded the allowed number of quoted blocks of text. And I'm the troll...
This poor kid is trying to use analytics to dispute the data that the analytics were based on in the first place.
He's not bright enough to realize that this is a self defeating concept.

I think he feels he just schooled me. It's quite funny actually. I've seen so many posts on this forum of his and it garbage and rambling. I bet his brain is getting overloaded because I'm having a fun. Lol.

You Failing to realize that the list is voted on by the PLAYERS!! Not fans, or analyst , or coaches... The players respect Hurns enough to get on the list ... Point Blank ...
I actually think Bortles, Robinson and Hurns TDs will drop slightly with a more balanced offense and having to play from behind less. Ideally, the turnovers will drop to and we will see more efficiency.
Quote:You do know the players vote on who makes the list right? His own peers selected him as a top NFL player when asked to vote. How is that disrespectful to other players?
Not just that even. The list is created through asking people who their top 10 are... that means that fact that hurns is even on the list means that people rated him in their top 10... they then take the averages and make a top 100 list. So regardless of how many people participated there are a few that have a lot of respect for both hurns and telvin.
I lot of the things KY says makes you question if he watched any where close to as much football as he clams to. I think he probably watches a game here and there then the rest he just gets off twitter and spider charts and gets some random guys projections and thinks those are in stone.
Quote:KYjaggy seems like he will be mad if Hurns makes it.
He's still upset that we didn't Teddy.
I'd like to know what Jerry Rice's spider chart looked like.
